Daily Affirmation #22

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but it speaks of the end, and does not lie. If it delays, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay” (Habakkuk 2:3, LEB). Time was something made for our benefit, but we have become slaves to the ticking of the clock. Time is such an important part of our lives that the devil has spent millennia trying to get us to the fast food culture we have today. With the Kingdom, NO seed is instant. Healing isn’t a seed. Adonai’s blessing isn’t a seed. But the Word can be. A word from Him always is. The fastest germinating seeds are the cabbage family which can germinate (if they’re fresh and in the right conditions) in a single day (most take 3-7). Lavender, on the other hand, can take up to 90 days. And that’s just germination, not plant growth. Then they’ll need to grow, develop seeds of their own as they mature, and then they get harvested. It takes time. But if you water them and protect them, the harvest is inevitable. From the moment you put it into soil, you’re going to get harvest.T. I. M. E. It takes TIME. It WILL happen, but not fast food fast. When that time takes place, don’t give up. Don’t say it isn’t working or that it doesn’t work. Hold onto it. God’s promises NEVER fail (1 Kings 8:56). As you go through the Word and communicate with God, remember what He says. Right down the promises. Put the verses that apply beside them. Rest in Jesus as that seed germinates, grows, matures, and then reach out to receive the harvest.
