Fear No Fear

“Not that I have already attained or have already been perfected, but I follow after it so that I may lay hold of that for which I was seized by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:12). We have a purpose. It isn’t insignificant. It isn’t small to God. It is so important, needed, and worthwhile that Jesus seized us. The word used means to seize or to capture. It also means understanding and discernment. There is something that Jesus wants us to grasp and then share. He has spiritually apprehended us so that we will mentally grasp an idea just like He grasped us. We need to totally and completely understand the idea that darkness is totally unable to conquer His Light (John 1:5; Revelation 21:23). This is a message the world really needs to know, because the devil is selling them the opposite. The devil is spreading the lie he has power and so do the other demons. Look around the stories available in entertainment and you’ll see near countless examples of properties featuring powerful demonic or supernatural forces. But this is not truth. The babiest baby of the Kingdom can send them packing because it is JESUS in us through the power of HOLY SPIRIT according to the will of the FATHER that does the work. NOTHING and NOONE can stand against Almighty God. By the Grace of God, because of His Mercy and Unfailing Love, we get to be His children. Children of the undefeatable. Children of the Always Victorious. Now isn’t THAT worth sharing? Isn’t THAT worth talking about? Isn’t that a reason to inhabit the place He picked for you to shine? I think so.
