Fear No Fear

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed; His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23). God is righteous and if we saw Him as He was we would be burnt to a pile of ashes, praise God! He is AWESOME! And He LETS us get close to Him! He made a Way and told us to go in it. Then He gave us a part of Himself (Holy Spirit) to coach us every step of the way. Our very own personal trainer and motivational speaker cheering us on, challenging us, and giving us the inside tips and tricks we need to succeed. Jesus opened that door when He poured His blood on the mercy seat. And EVERY SINGLE MORNING it is as if every day before didn’t happen. Our performance isn’t judged (although there is correction and consequences to bad actions). Every day we open our eyes to His face right beside ours, His sweet breath washing over us as He smiles. Eager to greet us. Eager to see us walking His Way and getting better with each step as we humbly submit to Him and His Word. What a GREAT way to start the day! What a GREAT way to live! Thank you, Father, for sending your Son and thank you, Jesus, for giving up your life! You are so, SO GOOD to us! Praise your Holy Name! Thank you. Thank you, SO much!
