Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless someone is born from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is an old man? He is not able to enter into his mother’s womb for the second time and be born, can he?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless someone is born of water and spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:3-5
Jesus came to heal us. To heal us spiritually and to heal us physically and to heal us mentally and to heal us every way that we can be healed. So much so, it would be as if we were leaving a womb and entering the world for the first time. Whole. Healed. Renewed. Regeneration to a New Life as New Creations not subject to the rules of this life and this world. How does that happen? The Father.
The uses Ruach HaKodesh to regenerate us from the inside out. “And if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ Jesus[a] from the dead will also make alive your mortal bodies through his Spirit who lives in you” (Romans 8:11). Our MORTAL bodies because of something SPIRITUAL (3 John 2). We’re regenerated by the Father through Ruach HaKodesh because He is the POWER of the Father’s Will. The spirit life of 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:16-17; Isaiah 53:5 flows through us. It brings renewal to His image, first spiritually and then physically. After all, the Word tells us we can be like Jesus IS in THIS world – and Jesus is NOT sick in ANY way (1 John 4:17).
None of this is because of US or OUR efforts. He planned and started it before anything was created. Ruach HaKodesh was our designated delivery system. “he saved us, not by deeds of righteousness that we have done, but because of his mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5). He washed away the old and replaced it with Himself. That’s more than a promise, that’s a HALLELUJAH! What an amazing partner we have to cooperate with! His will not ours! His plans not ours! How could we hope to come close to falling short, much less do better?? You know?
Anytime you are feeling sick in body or soul, remember these verses. Remember these promises. And start talking to your partner. Take Him by the hand and walk with Him to where He wants you to go. I guarantee it is full of cool pastures, refreshing water, and NO lack. Not of healthy or of ANY good thing, amen (Psalm 23).
Daily Affirmation of the Goodness of Elohim: Joshua 1:9
“Did I not command you? Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.” This was always Yahweh’s plan: to live with His children (Exodus 25:8). In the New Covenant, we are able to be in Jesus and thereby gain His Righteousness by Grace when we humbly submit to His Lordship. By Jesus’ sacrifice and redemption of us (from living in darkness to living in Light), we have the right to be called the Children of Yahweh (1 John 3:1). What a BLESSING! What do families do? Live together! We can live together with Yahweh RIGHT NOW and even longer! What a GOOD God!
Your Daily Confession of Elohim’s Goodness:
I taste and see that Yahweh is good; I am blessed because I take refuge in Him.
Psalm 34:8
