Fear No Fear

The water has been pure to this very day, just as Elisha prophesied.

When you throw salt into running water, what dissolves gets swept downstream. Wherever it is flowing, that’s where the solution goes. What doesn’t dissolve will sink to the bottom and sit there until it does dissolve and then will get swept away. Either way, it will be gone after a period of time. And it isn’t coming back. But when Elisha tossed salt into the water, it was an act of FAITH. That salt touched the water and the SOURCE was purified. The water flowed clean and refreshing. It did NOT get swept away. It did NOT fade. It did NOT go back to how it was. From that MOMENT it was a pure spring and it never EVER was anything else but. If we could find the exact stream today, it would STILL be PURE and CLEAN and CLEAR – free of all heavy metals, pollutants, and additives. What Adonai makes free, STAYS FREE.

Adonai is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34-35). I would go as far as to say Adonai is no respecter of CLASSIFICATION. Purify a spring, purify a soul. Heal a horse, heal a human. Make a garden on earth, make a garden of a personality. What Yahweh is willing to do for any single thing in the created universe(s), He is willing to do for any other single thing in the created universe(s). The question is NEVER what HE is willing to do. The question is ALWAYS how much are YOU willing to be restricted? We have free will, but He calls us to be obedient servants. The yoke isn’t heavy, but He wants us to willingly put it on and operate under it’s guidance (Matthew 11:28-30). If you are willing, you can walk where others have walked. From Adam to Joshua to Moses to Ruth to Jesus to Paul.

The fact is that if we are willing to do what these people did – walk the way they walked – we can experience the same relationship that they did. Are you willing to do that? By GRACE we are all saved. How much freedom you have is up to you. Are you two steps away from the chains that held you? Are you toying with them? Or are you our of the prison and running down the road? Are you climbing the mountain wanting to be ever higher, ever freer? If you are willing to submit, you can have the benefit of that submission.

Ruth gave up all she had (family, nationality, country, culture, and religion) to stick with the one she loved. That’s quite a bit to be willing to sacrifice. Jesus – regardless of His own ability – chose to never speak ANYTHING His Father didn’t tell Him to say or do ANYTHING His Father didn’t show Him to do. That is complete obedience and humble submission. Jesus ALWAYS pointed to the Father and NEVER took credit Himself. His whole life and ministry was about making His Father known to everyone He came across. Are YOU willing to live that way? Is THAT what you do all day, every day? We have the same Spirit in US that was in JESUS. If we live like He did, as He directs, then we could enjoy the same relationship with the Father HE did. It is all up to what WE are willing to do.

Since the Father makes no distinctions between people, He has made sure to give us all the same tools. The same Grace, the same measure of Faith, the same Holy Spirit indwelling us, the same ability to abide in Jesus and seek His face. But what will WE do? What knowledge of Adonai do WE have? Lack of knowledge of Him is the cause of all our spiritual issues (Hosea 4:6). If we would stick to Him and lean into learning about Him, we would find all the solutions to all our problems. We would discover all His strategies for all His plans for us and for those we impact. We would KNOW what HE wants us to know.

““Indeed, my plans are not like your plans, and my deeds are not like your deeds,” says the Lord, “for just as the sky is higher than the earth, so my deeds are superior to your deeds and my plans superior to your plans” (Isaiah 55:7-8). We’ve all heard these verses and they are TRUE. Yahweh IS so far above us as to boggle our minds. However, there is an ace in the hole here. In context, we can clearly see that Adonai is speaking to the WICKED (vs 7). He is NOT talking to the righteous. What does He say to the righteous? To those who are saved and abiding in Jesus the Messiah? “For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise him? But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). He also says “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those that are revealed belong to us and our descendants forever, so that we might obey all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 29:29).

Since we have access to the mind of Messiah, we have access to the mind of the Father. This means we have access to HIS point of view. This is ESSENTIAL for being able to live all the promises. Here in the natural world, you get sick, you get better, you get sick again later. But Adonai doesn’t operate like that at all. He is the same no matter WHEN we are encountering Him (Hebrews 13:8). He does things and they stay done. That which is accomplished is ALWAYS accomplished. That which is finished is ALWAYS finished. Jesus died ONCE to pay for sin (Romans 6:10). He isn’t dying every time someone sins. He died two thousand years ago for every sin you are ever going to commit. He did it once and once only. Now and forever. It wouldn’t matter if we sent into deep space and colonised a world which lasted a million years. His single death for sin would cover all their sins too. Once for all.

When Adonai heals, it stays healed. We aren’t needing to worry about remission or advancement. A disease healed is a disease gone. We don’t have to worry about flu season. There IS no seasonal sicknesses in Him. He heals. He cleanses. It’s whole, healthy, and will ALWAYS stay that way FOREVER. THAT is Yahweh’s point of view. “As far as the eastern horizon is from the west, so he removes the guilt of our rebellious actions from us (Psalm 103:12). then he says, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no longer.” Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin” (Hebrews 10:17-18). This is how Yahweh deals with sin. Gone for good. This is how Yahweh deals with the offspring of sin: anxiety, sickness, disease, depression, fear, etc. Once He has dealt with them? Forever gone.

Don’t let sickness come on you once you’re healed. Don’t seek a temporary respite from disease and sickness. Trust the Word which tells us Adonai deals with things completely, in full, and forever. He is NOT about stopgap measures. He is NEVER desperate. He does it right the first time and for all of time. What Adonai heals STAYS healed. Don’t let your circumstances or anyone around you – or your own thoughts – let you settle for seeking anything less. Take what Yahweh offers. He is the God Who Heals (Exodus 15:26). He is and has never been the God Who Heals Sometimes For Awhile Anyway. Do not take less than what Adonai is offering you. He ALWAYS offers the ABSOLUTE best ever.

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: 1 Samuel 2:10

“The Lord shatters his adversaries; he thunders against them from the heavens. The Lord executes judgment to the ends of the earth. He will strengthen his king and exalt the power of his anointed one.”” Messiah will be an anointed king to the Lord. He will be proclaimed a king. “Then Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18). “Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written,“Do not be afraid, people of Zion; look, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt!”” (John 12:15). Even Pilate acknowledged the place of Jesus as a king. “Above his head they put the charge against him, which read: “This is Jesus, the king of the Jews.”” (Matthew 27:37). Jesus is a king. Jesus was recognised as a king. Jesus IS Messiah.
