Fear No Fear

“We will make you ornaments of gold, with studs of silver” (Song of Songs 1:11, MEV). Think of the prosperity of the community that would have been needed for the friends of the woman to offer this kind of ornamentation. That gold and silver were not out of reach for friends of a common field worker (Song of Songs 1:6). Well, we have this promise from God. That He (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) will make us gold ornaments with silver studs. Both ornaments for us to wear (3 John 2) as we live, move, and interact from a RICH spiritual environment as well as a PHYSICAL environment that doesn’t follow the rules everyone else follows. But that we ourselves will be ornaments for our bridegroom (Ephesians 5:23; Revelation 21:2). What wonders we’re allowed to walk in. What a witness we get to be. Plugged into Him. Seeking His face. Submitting to His Word. And shining like the treasures that God has transformed us into. What an abundant life we get to lead!
