to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing of spirits, to another kinds of tongues, to another interpretation of tongues.

1 Corinthians 12:10

Yesterday we talked about the gifts of healing which were a supernatural healing (Acts 14:10 – normal healing was the man’s legs healed, the supernatural healing was instantly learning to walk) quite apart from the natural commanding of healing that all believers have as part of their lives in Jesus (John 14:12, Acts 3:12). All healing is miraculous in that the acceptance of Jesus’ provision of healing by His stripes, bruises, and wounds (Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:17-18; 1 Peter 2:24) speeds up the healing process to near instant accomplishment. They can also include the kind of healing that modern medicine can accomplish, but without the intervention of modern medicine. Supernatural healings, however, are healings that cannot be accomplished in ANY way naturally. Everyone can command healing, not everyone is given the faith for supernatural healing.

Does that mean that it has to be especially given by Ruach HaKodesh? Yes! He gives ALL the spiritual gifts. But trust in Jesus comes by hearing the Word of Adonai. If you spend time hearing and reading and listening about supernatural healings, you build up trust in Jesus that He will accomplish these things through you. That puts you in a place where if Adonai wants to move, you’ll say yes. Everyone CAN do all of these things, if we’ll only develop our trust that Jesus WILL do these things through us. Whether or not you experience Him doing that has to do with whether or not you’re in the right place at the right time and willing.

It’s easy to SAY you want to be involved with Jesus doing these supernatural things, but it takes real trust in Him. Do you really believe and are ready for Him to regrow a limb right now, today? What about seeing someone paralyzed become not paralyzed? What about an autoimmune disease? What about alzheimer’s? Stage four cancer? What about emptying a cemetery by raising everyone in it? Nothing is beyond Adonai’s scope. If He wants it, are you believing, trusting, and ready? Supernatural healing doesn’t happen if you aren’t ready, trusting, and believing. It always happens on Adonai’s schedule. It is always a glory to Adonai.

There are healing ministries marked by supernatural healing. Those WOW healings that are not able to be accomplished any other way. It isn’t that they are MORE miraculous than a ‘regular’ healing, but they are clearly and indisputably beyond human ability to accomplish at ANY time, much less near instantaneously. Everyone can participate in these types of healing if we are consistently building our trust in this area, but the gifting of healing (supernatural healing) is given to certain people more than others because that is the ministry that Jesus has administered to them through Ruach HaKodesh.

Daily Affirmation of the Goodness of Elohim: Psalm 77:14

You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.” Adonai enjoys working wonders. Not from a braggy standpoint, but because when He does we respond with total reverence and wonder. Who wouldn’t enjoy seeing the smile on the faces of children being shown something that was a true wonder? We are all children of Adonai. We are all young, innocent, and prone to WOW-ing. It is impressive to see just how much Adonai can do. It is humbling. It is awe inspiring. It places us in a worshipful frame of mind. And it always brings peace to know how much He can handle, how much He can do, and just how mighty and majestic our God really is. He works these wonders not for His sake, but for ours. To make it easier for us to remember. The wonders do not build trust in Him, but our trust in Him enables us to witness and certify His hand at work. It is a circle that always comes back to Him. Every time. And rightfully so. What a great witness it can be. He doesn’t HAVE to do these things. They bring Him nothing in and of themselves. But He WANTS to do these things. For our sake and for our edification. What a GOOD God!

I taste and see that Yahweh is good; I am blessed because I take refuge in Him.
