Fear No Fear

“the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;” (Psalm 19:8, MEV). There is NOTHING wrong with the Word. It brings JOY to the heart. It brings ENLIGHTENMENT (Psalm 119:130). People have been chasing enlightenment for hundreds and hundreds of years. And there it sits! On scrolls and between the covers of the modern bible. The eternal words of the Father of Eternity Himself. Written by Him through various scribes throughout human history. It is a conversation from His heart to ours. His point of view is RIGHTEOUS and OBJECTIVELY true. They are the ONLY things truly, objectively true. They are pure and unsullied by human motivation and human thinking. The Word renews our thinking (Romans 12:2), changes how we perceive things (2 Corinthians 4:18), brings health to our bodies (Proverbs 3:8), and helps us see the way to bring ourselves into harmony with Yahweh (Micah 6:8; Isaiah 66:2). It is truly and absolutely the ultimate way to understand God and walk in His ways (Psalm 119:105). It brings NOTHING but good things to us and ALL of us can ALWAYS use more of it.
