At once the bleeding stopped, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.
Mark 5:29 (emphasis added)
Yahweh is above us. His ways aren’t ours – UNTIL we get into Jesus! Once we are in Jesus, we have the Mind of Messiah (1 Corinthians 2:16). Once we are in Jesus we have Holy Spirit living inside us (1 Corinthians 3:16). Once we are in Jesus we have the same life as Jesus (1 John 4:17). Adonai guides us in His ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). Adonai renews our minds through the Word (Romans 12:2). So, since we are being led in His ways and they are NO LONGER high above us, WHY are we settling for ANYTHING other than His BEST?
Remember that this woman had heard about people touching Jesus and being healed (Mark 3:10). MANY people were healed by Jesus and OTHERS saw that and pressed forward to be healed by touching Him. These were people with diseases. The next verse talks about how Jesus wouldn’t let demons talk their trash. There is NO mention of these people not being delivered. When they touched Jesus believing that they would be healed, they WERE healed. This wasn’t isolated either. Mark 3:9 says that Jesus wanted to teach from a boat just off the shore because of the crowds. He was used to these crowds pressing forward to touch Him and while He welcomed that deliverance, Jesus didn’t want it to interfere with the teaching of the Father.
It was so prevalent and common that this woman heard about it. She heard about it more than once. She thought about it. She decided if them, why not me? They had diseases. I have a disease. They touched Him and were healed. I can touch Him and be healed. If He delivered them, He will deliver me. She took a deep breath, got her courage around her based on what she believed about Jesus, and went out to seek Him. He wasn’t hard to find – follow the crowds. She snuck through the crowd. She touched His clothes. She was IMMEDIATELY healed – just like she had thought on, believed, and acted out. She was delivered. How? “He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”” (Mark 5:34).
THIS is Yahweh’s BEST. Immediate and total healing. THAT is the power of Jesus’ blood. That blood is so powerful, the FAITH that Yahweh had that Jesus WOULD be the sacrifice – that Jesus would submit and walk through that terrible ordeal – was available for this woman to appropriate and receive healing. Yahweh’s faith was just as strong and powerful in the Old Covenant as it is in the New Covenant. THAT is the faith He gave to us (Romans 12:3). The faith of the Almighty Living God (Mark 11:22). It is as available to us NOW as it was THEN. It will ALWAYS be available (Hebrews 13:8). This is what we CAN walk in.
“The Father and I are one” (John 10:30). This was a statement of Jesus. If we are TRULY in Jesus, then we are one with Him. That is what He died for. That is what He redeemed us for. He made us co-heirs in HIM. WE are spiritually THE SAME as Jesus. HE was one with the Father. WE are one with the Father. Why would you want to settle for operating at ANY level below that? We will ONLY HEAR what the Blood of Jesus says to our spirit. Jesus ONLY says what He hears the Father say. The only information coming to us from our spirit is the WORDS of the FATHER. That means that ALL the things of the Father are for us and NONE of the things of the curse. We have the blood-borne RIGHT to them. THIS is what we can walk in. The WILL of the Father.
What IS the will of the Father? The Word. The Word is the will of the Father. We can walk in EVERYTHING the Word says that we can walk in. Our SOULS prosper and then the rest of us prosper. Like turning on a light. First the bulb lights, then the room lights. Instantaneously (or with such a short delay it needs machines to measure it). THAT is Yahweh’s BEST. We can HAVE His best. We can have INSTANT healing. INSTANT deliverance. INSTANT answers. Why? Holy Spirit lives in us. How much time passes between our need and His answer? Holy Spirit tells us what Jesus says which is what the Father says. INSTANT access. We CAN have instant healing like this woman. If we have it, we will have it EXACTLY the same way. FAITH.
Your daily question should be ‘what does the word say’? You need to hear the report of the Father. If you hear it, you can think on it. Dwell on it. Mull it over. Take tea over it. Soon enough you’ll be able to build a picture inside of you of you inside that report. If you can see yourself inside that report, you can start to expect it. Doubt that? Go to the grocery store hungry. In reality all you see is unprepared food. In your mind you see it prepared, dripping with goodness, and YOU eating it. You SEE the satisfaction. You can TASTE the goodness of the final product. You can see yourself in the report. If you’ll do that with the things of Adonai, you will be able to see yourself in the Word and the Word in you. Faith will strengthen (Romans 10:17). When faith strengthens, it holds up your belief. When faith strengthens, it kicks unbelief to the curb. When faith deepens, we have in our hearts the eager expectation of the fulfilment of the promise that we were shown in the Word by the Word (Messiah Jesus). When we act on that belief, that faith, things HAPPEN.
“So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith without works and I will show you faith by my works” (James 2:17-18). If we don’t have strengthened faith, we won’t act. If we DO have strengthened faith, we cannot HELP but act. Faith DEMANDS action. That’s what happened with this woman. She heard. She saw herself experiencing the same thing. She strengthened her faith about her healing. She acted. If she hadn’t acted, she would not have been healed. She was REQUIRED to walk out her faith by touching Jesus. It only took a touch. Just one. For a moment only. It WORKED.
Jesus is WITH US. We can touch Him. We can touch Him easily. “Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have also obtained access into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory” (Romans 5:1-2). We are IN Jesus. We have access through Him to the Father. We can PROVE that by living in humble submission to what we find in the Word. Since we KNOW we have access to the Father, how much MORE do we have access to Messiah Jesus our Lord? WE CAN TOUCH HIM! Hallelujah for that!
Our best includes waiting. Examinations. Scans. Doctors reports. Prayer meetings. Resting. Waiting. Some more waiting. Incremental increase (with assistance from the medical industry or gradual restoration by supernatural means). THAT is our best. THAT is what WE do. But Yahweh’s BEST is instantaneous healing. On HIS SIDE it was accomplished already in Jesus’ sacrifice. Jesus’ blood is ALREADY on the Mercy Seat. Jesus’ blood has ALREADY washed us clean. Jesus’ blood has ALREADY healed everyone of everything ever. If we are not getting His BEST, the issue is on our side and not His.
Yahweh’s perspective is us identical to Jesus. Healed. Whole. Healthy. What is YOUR perspective and what are you going to do about it? I highly recommend reading the Word, thinking on the Word, and getting yourself into the Word in your mind. Seeing yourself in the promises. Seeing yourself in the freedom. Seeing yourself in what Adonai says that you can be in. Strengthen your faith. And then? Act. Touch Jesus. Accept His BEST.
Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Psalm 22:1
“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? I groan in prayer, but help seems far away.” In ancient times, it was assumed that if you quoted the first line of a work, you were referencing the entire thing. Jesus called out the first line of this Psalm on the cross. But what does the Psalm SAY? It calls out to Yahweh. It acknowledges Yahweh saves His people. It praises Yahweh’s plans and works. It acknowledges the necessary suffering of Messiah. And praises Yahweh for His hand in it all for the redemption of humanity. How does it end? Thriving people. Worshipping people. Delivered people. It ends in total and absolute victory. Jesus called out this Psalm. “At about three o’clock Jesus shouted with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”” (Matthew 27:46). Jesus called out the verse. Jesus claimed the verse. In claiming the verse, Jesus was claiming the Psalm. In claiming the Psalm, Jesus was proclaiming His Messiahship. Jesus IS our sacrifice. Jesus is our redeemer. Jesus IS the Messiah!
