Fear No Fear

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning” (James 1:17, MEV). Every single good gift comes DOWN from our Father in Heaven. Imagine a series of presents, wrapped up with neat little bows. Attached to pretty parachutes, glistening white. Dropped with care out of heaven, they float down to land gently here on Earth, ready to be picked up , unwrapped, and opened by us. You’ll notice the gifts aren’t attached to us seeking missiles. They are not brought by homing angels. They are sent down to THE spot that the Father prepared for them: the Blessing zone. Right smack dab in the middle of His Son. Jesus IS the Blessing zone. When we stay in harmony with Him, we are where the blessings are. We can get at them. We can utilise them. It’s meant to be. But when we let ourselves get out of harmony with Him, when we turn away, we cannot even SEE the blessings, much less open and engage them. If we leave the place of blessing, we’ll get none of the meat (1 Kings 17:2-6). He isn’t going to chase us. He isn’t going to turn wherever we are. No. God is going to always be clear on where the Blessing is. God is going to help us walk at His direction. But He isn’t going to do the work himself. He isn’t going to do it for us. We are COOPERATORS, not puppets.
