Fear No Fear

“Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, you righteous one; and shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart!” (Psalm 32:11, MEV). But I couldn’t do that! I’m not righteous! WRONG!!!! You ARE righteous IN and THROUGH Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). It’s HIS righteousness we wear when we are wearing Jesus (Galatians 3:27). When we have a repentant heart, when we’re humble, and when we submit to Jesus, we get to be righteous. We have an upright heart. This is the baseline that all believers should walk in. This is the abundant life that He came to give us (John 10:10). All the Blessing from God lands in that place of oneness with Jesus (Matthew 6:33). This is how we prosper in every area of our lives – spirit, soul, body, emotionally, mentally, relationally, physically, and financially (3 John 2). Isn’t that something to be excited about? Isn’t it wonderful to choose to Trust (have faith) in God? Isn’t that worth praising Him for? Rejoicing in Him for? Lifting up your hands, dancing around, and shouting out? If you aren’t joyful in your heart all the time, then there is an area (or areas) where you aren’t trusting in Jesus. Because trusting in Jesus creates joy. We rely on HIS strength and it CREATES joy. It bubbles up out of you in ways you cannot stop. It can’t be squelched. And it can be turned on like a lightswitch by submitting that area to Jesus and accepting in yourself that HE is in charge, HE is taking care of it, and HE has it 200%. Choosing to trust in Jesus in any given area will bring JOY in that area. Period. It’s a promise of God and ALL the promises of God are yes and amen if you’ll choose to walk in trust with Him.
