Fear No Fear

“Let Your lovingkindness, O Lord, be on us, just as we hope in You” (Psalm 33:22). The amount of mercy, or lovingkindness, that we experience in our lives is equal to the amount of hope we grow. It’s like water in a faucet. It’s ready to gush out, keep gushing, and flood our whole house. But we have to turn the tap. WE must grow what HE has given us to grow. He gave us hope. He’s the only one who could, really. He’s the only one peddling TRUTH. Since our hope is based on our trust in Jesus (Romans 15:13), it is our trust in Him that lets His lovingkindness flow. Mercy is not something we have to beg from Him. Mercy is something He is offering and we accept. It’s there. Ready to go. If we humbly submit, we get it. If we’re willing to accept Jesus and let Him be Lord of our lives, it’s ours. If we’ll be in harmony with Him, He’ll be in harmony with us (Jeremiah 29:13; Revelation 3:20). These aren’t complicated thoughts. They’re simple. The Gospel of the Kingdom is simple. Get back to where you always should have been and enjoy what always should have been yours. Jesus got it back for us. If we stick to Him, we’ll have it. Stay submitted to His Will. Obey Him from love. His Mercy will overtake you like a FLOOD.
