Ruach HaKodesh “Source of Future Course”

for no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

2 Peter 1:21

When Europe first came calling here on Turtle Island, the Nations who were here lent people to the explorers. These First Nations citizens revealed the Turtle Island to the Europeans, showing them their routes and teaching them survival techniques. They were invaluable time and time again in saving lives, time, and money. Without them, the Europeans would have had a much harder time. In fact, expedition after expedition perished or disappeared (and presumed perished) because they had little to no contact or were violent toward the First Nations.

The bible itself and all prophetic words which are truly prophetic – in or outside the Word – were NOT from the mind of humanity. They come from outside humanity. Ruach HaKodesh is a spirit. Ruach HaKodesh is GOD. Both these things make it completely clear and plain that humanity had NO PART in their creation, only in their transcription and delivery. We don’t know the paths of the future. We don’t know how to navigate the unseen realms. We don’t know how they work. We can’t even see them on our own, much less understand them. Without the guidance of Ruach HaKodesh, we would be starving on an ice flow trying to walk far enough to reach peopled land – which we never would. We NEED a guide the same way we NEED a Saviour.

This is why people bristle and avoid talk of Adonai. It’s why denominations batten down their hatches and strive to keep out all outside contact. They’re terrified of being led astray. They’re not secure in the call of Jesus’ voice – that is NOT a criticism, because Jesus knows how often I myself have failed to hear. It is simply the way they operate. They want to be sure of THEIR map of the Kingdom and are not at all interested in anyone else’s. These are doctrinal lines. The important thing is that we all follow Jesus. That HE is our common core. That the LOVE of Jesus (evidenced by our TRUST in Jesus) is what informs, inhabits, and is the infrastructure of all our interactions – with each other as well as with the world (Ephesians 4:13). When we KNOW Jesus, we KNOW His voice (John 10:27-28). We know Him as we seek Him, and may we ALL do that so that as a body we’ll function the way Adonai intended.

We ALL need a guide. Every one of us. We’re in territory we cannot see in ourselves, but that we CAN see by Trust. Trust is also unseen and focused by belief. This is impossible for flesh to accomplish. It’s too physical. But through Ruach HaKodesh, we CAN see. We CAN hear. And we CAN traverse these worlds we walk in (2 Corinthians 4:18). Ruach HaKodesh knows what’s coming and He can give us instructions on what to do (John 16:13-15) – but WE still need to do it. Like those flashing warnings in side-scroller video games, He gives us a heads up that something is going to hit, arrive, or otherwise cause us a problem – unless we listen and jump when He says jump, dive to the right at the proper time, or duck under the trap that was set. He gives us the skinny on what’s coming at us before it’s close enough to hit us. If we will listen, our feet will be in the right place, our shield will be at the right angle, and our sword (the Word) will be ready to leave our mouths and counter what will be. No one else can give us that map, and it will only do us good if we LISTEN and then OBEY – no matter how crazy it looks to us at the point where we are. Lean into our SOURCE (Yahweh) and listen for what we need – BEFORE we need it.

Daily Affirmation of the Goodness of Elohim: 1 Chronicles 29:14

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. As believers, our JOB is to be generous. This fallen world is based on principles of lack, loss, and death. Death can be actual stopping of the meat suit. Death can also be of ideals, innocense, appetite for life, and joy. God wants us to always be increasing (Psalm 23:1). Abraham had a responsibility to bless others. “I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2). It’s why he was so blessed. You can’t bless others unless you are blessed. If it is done any other way it’s redistributing assets, not a blessing. Being blessed is having so much you can give away to others without feeling lack. Doesn’t have to be financial. In fact, we are Blessed in every area of our lives; spirit, soul, and body. It comes from the Father’s hand and it goes through ours. By cooperation with Yahweh (Matthew 19:26), all the world could be Blessed. He is ever merciful and His blessing is ever present to His obedient children, enabling them to be a light in the darkness and attract others to His mercy and goodness. What a GOOD God!

I taste and see that Yahweh is good; I am blessed because I take refuge in Him.
