Fear No Fear

For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free persons, and all were made to drink one Spirit

1 Corinthians 12:13

The spirit who dwells in me isn’t better than the one who dwells in you. And it’s no different than the one who dwells in that famous person on TV or the unknown person shuffling down an alley in Central America. The spirit who dwells in us is the Ruach HaKodesh, the Breath of Lives, the Spirit of Almighty God, Yahweh Himself. That’s the spirit who is in me and that is the spirit who is in you. Do you have ANY conception as to what that means?

I’m learning what that means. Or I’m starting to learn the beginning part of what that means. Because it is a LOT and it stretches the human mind. I thank Adonai He’s given us access to the Mind of Messiah – we wouldn’t have a hope of understanding it at ALL without that. You know this verse: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” declares Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9). It’s used to illustrate how much higher Adonai is than us. That His ways are not understandable. But that isn’t the context. It’s true, but that isn’t what the verse is saying. The verse before contains an important piece of information: “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of sin his thoughts. And let him return to Yahweh, that he may take pity on him, and to our God, for he will forgive manifold” (Isaiah 55:7). Adonai’s thoughts are higher than the thoughts of the WICKED. Once we are in Jesus, we are privileged people. WE have access to the Mind of Messiah (1 Corinthians 2:16). We get that because of the Ruach who dwells within us. “For to us God has revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10).

We are given Ruach without limitation on Adonai’s end. “being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace; one body and one Spirit (just as also you were called with one hope of your calling), one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all” (Ephesians 4:3-6). Jesus has ONE body – the church (which is the believers who believe in Him – Jew first, and then Gentile). Jesus gave that ONE body ONE Ruach – HIS. The body has many parts, but ONE spirit. ONE. Singular. One size fits ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL those parts of the body. We all have the SAME THING. We are the SAME as Jesus was. “Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak from myself, but the Father residing in me does his works” (John 14:10). What is the ONLY difference? The Father is in Jesus, but JESUS is in us. Although, since the Father is in Jesus and Jesus is in us then the Father is in us through Jesus (John 14:23). How do we know it’s true? 1 John 4:13 “By this we know that we reside in him and he in us: that he has given us of his Spirit.“

We are not different. We are the same. The differences come from the individual belief and trust that we have in Jesus (Ephesians 3:10). But we have the SAME stuff. We have the same trust. HIS (Mark 11:22). We can be like Jesus IS in THIS Earth (1 John 4:17). But we have to be in JESUS to be LIKE Jesus. That’s how the kingdom works. We can’t do it in ourselves. We can ONLY do it in Him (John 15:5). And they ONLY way we can be in Him is through Ruach HaKodesh. Since we are commanded to be like Him. “Therefore become imitators of God, as beloved children” (Ephesians 5:1). More than once: 1 John 2:6; 1 Peter 2:21; 1 Corinthians 11:1; and John 13:13-17 for starters. We’re made in HIS image and HE has a SPIRIT. So too, are WE carriers of THE Ruach (1 Corinthians 3:16). The SAME Ruach HaKodesh that we ALL have. That’s how we can do things. Because HE does the work, not us (Philippians 2:13; John 14:10).

One RUACH fits ALL the Body of Messiah. We should start acting like it. We should be AWARE of His presence. He is with us at ALL times, speaking to us at ALL times, so that we can be the righteousness of Messiah at ALL times. It is what we are called to do. In HIM, we can.

Daily Affirmation of the Goodness of Elohim: Romans 11:36

“For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory for eternity! Amen.“ As He is, so are we. We are the same (1 John 4:17). We have access to everything that is, because JESUS has everything that is. We’re not meant for all of it now. But we are meant for a LOT more than we think. We have access to the Blessing! Because HE loves us. Because HE corrects us. Because HE guides us. Because HE called us. Because HE equipped us. Because HE saved us. Because HE healed us. Because, because, because. He, he, he. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. What an amazing thing. It baffles the mind. That HE would WANT to pay attention to US (Psalm 8:4-8). We were made just below HIMSELF. Wow. He wants to fellowship with us. Wow. He LOVES us. WOW. We HAVE because through Jesus we have all things from the Father. ALL spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3). It starts there. In the spirit. But it flows into every area of our lives (3 John 2). Why? So that we can give Him glory and all those around us see what a GOOD God we serve. Amen.
