Fear No Fear

Science is the study of what we can observe. That’s what it is. It can ONLY tell us about what we can OBSERVE. It is our efforts to understand, describe, and categorise what we have discovered. Because of this, it is not the end-all be-all of anything. It cannot tell us what we have not discovered. It cannot tell us about what we do not understand. It can only tell us what we CURRENTLY know and understand while placing good guesses at what we don’t. As such, science is a WONDERFUL witness to the truthfulness of the Word. When someone verifiably has a sickness, disease, or injury and they accept Jesus’ healing power, science can verify that in ways that cannot be recorded or understood the bad went bye-bye and only good remains. ScienTISTS may yell and raise issue and want to keep the Word away, but SCIENCE itself supports the Word.

Since that would be HORRIBLE news to be accepted by the public – as far as the kingdom of darkness goes – they have been fighting for centuries to keep things under wraps. But the more we discover, the more science proves the Word. Especially in the nitty-gritty things. Like healing. We tend to go to the doctor when we are sick. We go to the hospital when we are injured. There are records out there of thousands upon thousands of people who were sick, injured, diseased, malformed, and handicapped. These people received their healing and now? They are verifiably well, whole, complete, and restored. Although they are not often loud about that verification.

Quite often, they like to shut up and not say anything. But every so often, the miracle that was received was SO BIG that they DO talk about it. Never makes the news though. Because the world is against spreading that kind of information. It’s a funny thing though. No matter whether you ‘believe’ it was a miracle. Whether you believe there were mitigating circumstances. Whether you believe it simply worked its way out or not. When faced with the reality of a healing, it is hard to say something against it because…. there it is right there.
I believe this is why healings accompany the teaching and preaching the Word. Healings are VISIBLE. They cannot be denied because they are THERE. I’m not talking only the backs being healed or the cancer being lifted (very real healings but harder to ‘see’ in a meeting). I’m also talking about limbs being regrown. Legs being restored so crutches and wheelchairs aren’t needed anymore. Eyes being restored so that the blind once again see. The hunched over and weary walkers running around with a smile. Healings can be the dramatic, but quiet. They can also be exuberant and VERY visual. Yahweh is a God of WONDER and LOVES to surprise us! He loves the shrieks of joy from His children. He loves to see us freed from sickness, disease, injury, and any and everything that is holding us back.

You know what else? A healed person who knows they were healed don’t care what you say. They KNOW they were sick. They KNOW they are healed. That’s it. You can complain and try to explain why it isn’t so, but in the end? You can’t argue with a healing that is clearly a healing. I can speak to a headache that is trying to manifest on me and tell it to flee. Outsiders will say it wasn’t really one, I just needed to rest, needed water, had neglected my caffeine intake, etc etc. But I KNOW that within moments to minutes of my SPEAKING to it while trusting Jesus for the healing I was granted through the cross, it went. That is NOT natural. Having a headache, doing NOTHING but speak, and it near IMMEDIATELY dissipates? That is a miracle.

Headaches and stage four cancer are just as easy to get rid of. You know what it takes? TRUST in Jesus. The same healing power that raised a body that had gone into decomposition in the desert turning into a pristine, perfectly working, living body lives inside of you. “Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you” (Romans 8:11). This is what is within us. Our level of access to it is dependent on our TRUST in Jesus. It is all about TRUST and RELATIONSHIP. If we will seek Him, ALL THIS will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). Jesus is ABUNDANT LIFE (John 10:10). Jesus is RENEWAL (John 7:38). How do we know this is trustworthy? The VISIBLE healings that we see again and again and again. It doesn’t matter if they are small or big. In fact, the small can help us trust for the big because NOTHING is too big for Adonai (Jeremiah 32:17). And He doesn’t treat ANYONE different than ANYONE else (Romans 2:11). He raised Lazarus. He is willing to raise your loved one. He healed cripples, the blind, the sick, the diseased, the possessed, and every kind of everything. He healed ALL who came to Him (Matthew 8:16-17).

Healings are a WITNESS. No one can argue with them – not really. They go into denial, but they can’t really argue. Because a healing is a healing is a healing. Period. Jesus’ words are TRUE. Adonai can be TRUSTED. When you are healed, speak up. Speak out. Whenever you come across someone who is suffering from what you USED to suffer from, tell them you got healed. Tell them who healed you. Proclaim the living, still-today work of Messiah Jesus!! They may scoff, but you will KNOW the truth. They won’t be able to argue with YOU either.

“Do not let those who are my enemies for no reason gloat over me. Do not let those who hate me without cause carry out their wicked schemes.” Messiah would be hated without cause. Without doing ANYTHING wrong, people would rise up against Him. Attack and demean Him. When successful, they would scorn and gloat over Him. “Now this happened to fulfill the word that is written in their law, ‘They hated me without reason.’” (John 15:25). Jesus was scorned. Jesus was attacked. Jesus did NOTHING against the Law (the only human being EVER who managed it), yet they hated and attacked Him. Jesus was blameless. Jesus IS the Messiah!
