Fear No Fear

“Now it was reported to David that Ahithophel was conspiring with Absalom, and David said, “O Lord, make the advice of Ahithophel folly.” When David came to the summit where he would worship God, Hushai the Arkite approached him with his coat torn and dirt on his head” (2 Samuel 15:31-32, MEV). David prayed as he climbed the Mount of Olives. When he got to the top, Hushai was standing there. Hushai had heard, had grieved, had climbed ahead of David, and he was waiting. Hushai was the instrument God was going to use to bring about the physical arrival of David’s prayer. And God has ALREADY had it in place. The answer was already moving before the prayer had been prayed. God knows what we need (Matthew 6:8). God answers us BEFORE we ask (Isaiah 65:24). It’s still important to ASK (Psalm 18:6). It is not really an ‘asking’, but a giving of permission in the sense that we are agreeing to submit to Him and accept His help in full cooperation with what He wants, when He wants, and how He wants. It is when we are hand-in-hand that things happen (Matthew 19:26). That’s how God set it up and that’s how it works. It isn’t God moving for us, it’s us moving WITH Him. But the COMFORT is that He doesn’t wait for us. He knows what we will need and sets it in motion BEFORE we need it. He knows that injury is coming. You can experience it and be paralyzed for life, or you can experience it and receive the healing that He released two thousand years ago in the same way you received the salvation that He released two thousand years ago. It is almost mind-blowing when we think of the provisions that He made available for us to engage THOUSANDS of years before we needed it. In fact before the world was created (Revelation 13:8). This is a God that can be trusted. This is a God who can be relied on. This is a God to cooperate with in ALL THINGS. Because He already made a Way for whatever we need, for what He wills, and for how it will ALL come to pass. Cooperate with Him and there will ALWAYS be supernatural provision, assistance, and time-bending (from our point of view) synergy. With Yahweh, all things are possible and NOTHING is IMpossible. Rely on Him. You won’t EVER be let down.
