Fear No Fear

“My mind and body may fail; but God is the rock for my mind and my portion forever. Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who adulterously leave you” (Psalm 73:26-27). It doesn’t matter what happens with our meat suits. I believe healing is for forever from the cross onward. I believe Jesus accomplished healing through the scraping of His flesh and He released it for ANYONE to accept – you don’t even need to be saved, you only need to believe. I believe He released HEALTH for the believers in Himself. All of it hinging on trust in Jesus and belief in His words and deeds. But even if none of that were true, it wouldn’t matter. Why? Because my mind is founded on God. My Source forever is God. That won’t change if my eyes see something I don’t believe. My eyes, my ears, and my mouth are all flooded every day with everything the world has to offer. But I plug them as much as I am able with the Word of God. With the things of the Lord. I don’t have a perfect record, but that is my goal. I do NOT want to be far from the Lord. I certainly don’t want to replace Him with something else. I mean, what would be WORTH it? Nothing. Nothing CAN be worth it. It is STUPID to trade relationship with God for a few moments or a few days of something else? No matter HOW it feels, what is a few days or moments to the ETERNITY we can have with His Perfection? Nothing on this Earth is worth it. And no one who leaves God to cheat with a covetous idol will do so without paying for it. The wages of sin are death. Jesus paid that price, but when you reject Him and despise Him in order to sin? You’re playing with very hot fire, my friend. It is NOT worth it. Stick to Jesus. Stick WITH Jesus. It’s the ONLY thing that is worthwhile in this life.
