Fear No Fear

And I will give a new heart to you, and a new spirit I will give into your inner parts, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh. And I will give my spirit into your inner parts, and I will make it so that you will go in my rules, and my regulations you will remember, and you will do them.

Ezekiel 36:26-27

When will this be fulfilled? Truly in fullness and totality, in Heaven before the Throne of Yahweh. “convinced of this same thing, that the one who began a good work in you will finish it until the day of Christ Jesus,” (Philippians 1:6). “who will transform our humble body to be conformed to his glorious body, in accordance with the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself” (Philippians 3:21). “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever he is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is” (1 John 3:2). “Thus also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruptibility. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body” (1 Corinthians 15:42-44). We are not there yet. Not yet. But we’re going to. And in the meantime? We are not destitute. What we WILL be is the full harvest. What we have NOW is the firstfruits. The BEGINNING of the TOTALITY of His promise.

Ruach Hakodesh IS that firstfruit. We HAVE been given Ruach HaKodesh to dwell inside us. “the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not see him or know him. You know him, because he resides with you and will be in you” (John 14:17). Can you see Him? No. Why? He’s on the INSIDE. He is in your INNER PARTS. That’s a fulfillment of this verse. Not the TOTAL fulfillment, but the first taste. The first ripeness of the fruit of our connection with Yahweh. The first fruit from our relationship with Him. It’s exciting! It should stir you up!

You know what is SO great about having Ruach HaKodesh inside us? We do NOT have to rely on OURSELVES. Our ideas. Our thoughts. We don’t have to stand on them. We don’t have to decide THEY are the right things. We can choose a DIFFERENT path. We can choose HIS path, because He lights it up and marshals us along it (John 16:13; Psalm 23:3). We can know what is right because what is right is INSIDE us. We don’t have to memorize all the things we should be doing and should be avoiding. The FULL list of them is inside us and HE brings them to our mind as we need them. Imagine that. REMEMBERING everything that Adonai says is so from HIS point of view. Remembering it like we remember what we ate the day before. What we said a minute ago. What we watched last week. Who our friends are. Who our parents are. That kind of remembering. The kind it’s hard, if not impossible, to forget. That becomes AUTOMATIC when Ruach HaKodesh is in the driver’s seat. What a BLESSING!

As I said, this isn’t the fullness of what we can have. This isn’t the finality of how it will work. But this is a start. This is the beginning. And when you know how GREAT this is RIGHT NOW, it’s hard to imagine what the ending of it will be. Because this is PRETTY GOOD!!!! The more we meditate and study the Word, the more there is inside us to come out. The more we remember – whether we’re trying or not. It is a great place to be. To remember the right thing to do as if you’ve already done it, before you do it. It is a blessing to be able to have intent toward the things of Adonai and know where to put your feet. To know what to say. To see what to do. It’s how Jesus operated. It’s how He conducted His ministry. He had the FULLNESS we have the FIRSTFRUITS of. So if we get into Jesus, we get to get into HIS fullness while we wait for OURS. Is that a good deal, or what?

As deep into Ruach HaKodesh as we can go, as deep a relationship, as partnered as we can get, it is just a TASTE of the depths of Jesus that we will be able to plumb, be part of, and experience. So why wait? Why not start now? Why not start yesterday? Why not seek Him? Lean into Him? Why not get as much as we can handle RIGHT NOW TODAY? There is NO reason not to. He IS our firstfruit. Have some fruit today. It’s healthy. You LITERALLY cannot eat too much. What a blessing!

Daily Affirmation of the Goodness of Elohim: Proverbs 21:21

“He who pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.” We can live life treading water. We can live life swimming in circles. Or we can live life fully adventuring wherever the map has for us to go. What kind of life do you want? One full of meaninglessness? Boring moments, followed by exciting moments, followed by hollow moments, followed by boring moments. This is the life the vast majority of people in the world live. Some live it in poverty. Some live it in riches. The rest live somewhere in between. But this is not REAL life. It’s a shadow. When you are living real life, you don’t EVER ask why you’re here. What the point is. You KNOW the meaning of life. You KNOW the purpose for which you are made. You KNOW what to do. I’m not judging anyone who isn’t there yet. But these things CAN be discovered and they CAN be walked in. You CAN do what you were made to do. THAT is where you get a fulfilling life. THAT is where you have an abundant life – regardless of the circumstances you’re walking in at the moment. Jesus didn’t come to slap a bandage on our life. He came so that we can be RENEWED, REDEEMED, RESTORED, and FULL OF LIFE. HIS life, not ours. HIS life. And He is the FULLNESS of life (Colossians 2:6-15). That is what He came to bring to us. That is what He came to bring us into. What a GOOD God!
