Fear No Fear

“Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field be joyful, and all that is in it; then all the trees of the forests shall rejoice before the Lord, for He comes, for He comes to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with His faithfulness” (Psalm 96:11-14, MEV). Trees don’t have brains. They are inanimate. The sea splashes and thrashes, but it doesn’t have a sense of itself. Yet all of creation praises the Lord. I have NO IDEA how, but the Word says they do. How much more then should WE praise the Lord. We literally have NO REASON TO FEAR no matter what is happening. There will be a day of judgment, and we will have NO FEAR. We’re being weighed to see how much reward we get. It’s ALL positive. It is only those who refuse Jesus that are judged. The trees know this. The seas know this. We are capable of UNDERSTANDING and EMBRACING it. Don’t let a day go past without acknowledging the great gift we’ve been given. Don’t let half a day go past without praising Him for being Him. He is a GREAT God and WORTHY of our praise. You know more than trees and seas. Let your life reflect that. Let it be a seat of worship and an altar of praise to the Lord.
