Fear No Fear

“Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever. Who can recount the mighty acts of the Lord or declare all His praise?” (Psalm 106:1-2, MEV). Have you ever been so thankful or grateful to someone that you can’t put it into words? You know the ballpark you want to be in, but you can’t quite manage it? It can sure be fun though, can’t it? As you see the pleasure you’re bringing to the person you’re trying to thank. As you see them realise and acknowledge the great influence they’ve been? It’s like a present you’ve given them and you get the joy of seeing them open it. It works the same way with the Lord. We don’t think in those terms all the time. We know that we cannot ever put into words what He really has done. What He has really accomplished in our lives. We cannot put into words how grateful and thankful we are. But when we try, we put a smile on His face. He LIKES to see us thankful. He LIKES to see the effect He has had on us. He LAUGHS when He sees our Joy in Him. He is our Father, and EVERY Father loves to see the effect they have on their loved ones. Even though we can’t quite manage it, try telling Him all He’s done for you. Try telling Him of all the GOODNESS He has brought to you, those around you, and this entire creation. Try declaring all the GOODNESS of God. You won’t make the finish line, but it will be REALLY fun trying! Let yourself experience His Joy in your Joy in Him
