Fear No Fear

Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.

Do you believe Jesus was resurrected to Life? Do you believe the Father did it? Do you believe the Ruach HaKodesh was involved? If you believe that, you can EASILY believe that this verse can be taken literally. Yes, it is conditional in two ways. First, you HAVE to believe it. Second, you are an OBEDIENT child. Why obedience? If you keep dimming and turning off lightbulbs, eventually you will be shrouded in darkness and unable to see well. But if you turn on the light and keep it on, darkness can’t touch you. It is that simple.

Is the Spirit inside you? “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16). The power that raised Jesus from the DEAD was the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit). That is the Spirit inside you. One of the god-head. He lives inside us. He resides there. He corrects us, teaches us, and tells us everything Jesus says. It is His ministry here on earth. Residing in us. Just as the heart MUST function in order for your physical body to stay alive, the Ruach HaKodesh MUST be in residence within you for you to be spiritually alive and vibrant. But since He IS, there is no excuse for us to be whole and well.

When you die, your muscles loosen immediately after death. Your skin may also sag. Your body temperature gradually decreases about 0.83 degrees Celsius per hour. Gravity pulls your blood downward, toward the Earth. Your skin may look purplish-red in the spots where blood pools. Your body stiffens at your face and neck, continues to the trunk of your body, then to your arms and legs, and then your fingers and toes. A few days after death, your body’s tissue breaks down, causing the stiff parts to relax again. Enzymes start to digest cell membranes and then leak out as the cells break down. First in your liver, then in your brain, and then in the rest of your organs. It isn’t pretty. It kinda stinks. And it isn’t fixable. Yet Jesus was raised. After THREE DAYS of this process, Jesus was raised back to life with not only absolute total and complete restoration but IMPROVEMENT. In a human corpse after three days the body starts to bloat and blood-containing foam leaks from the mouth and nose. Yet Jesus was restored from that condition.

Tell me. No matter WHAT is wrong with you, how do you think it is worse than what happens at the cellular level on up at death? Stage Four Cancer is NOT worse. Parkinson’s is NOT worse. AIDS is NOT worse. Bubonic Plague is NOT worse. Covid – long or short – is NOT worse. Smallpox is NOT worse. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome is NOT worse. Ebola is NOT worse. Migraines are NOT worse. Depression is NOT worse. Anxiety is NOT worse. Polio is NOT worse. The flu is NOT worse. None of these things is worse. A broken leg is NOT worse. A short or missing limb is NOT worse. A spinal fracture is NOT worse. Blind eyes are NOT worse. Non-functional legs is NOT worse. Herpes is NOT worse. Heart attacks are NOT worse. Strokes are NOT worse. Endometriosis is NOT worse. Sciatica is NOT worse. Athlete’s Foot is NOT worse. Alzheimer’s is NOT worse. Fibromyalgia is NOT worse. Post-surgical pain is NOT worse. Fatal familial insomnia is NOT worse. Paraplegia is NOT worse. NONE of this is worse than death – although when you’re suffering for long periods of time it can FEEL worse.

You know what? A testimony of being able to love Adonai absolutely, praise Him, and spread the Gospel in spite of a bad condition is a HUMAN testimony. Is is the same testimony as someone who has a disabling condition (physical or mental) and succeeds at something a well person would be challenged to do. There are THOUSANDS of them because humans are amazing creations. We are resilient and creative and interesting and motivated and can do a LOT of things. But they are NOT an Adonai-level testimony. It is a second-best testimony for Adonai. He can USE you. He can help inspire others through you. But it is second-best. An Adonai-level testimony is TOTAL and COMPLETE and NEAR INSTANTANEOUS or INSTANTANEOUS healing and restoration. Anything else is Him meeting us where we are, not us accepting all of what He is offering.

The Spirit of the Father who raised Jesus from the dead through that Holy Spirit lives inside you. That means that raising from the dead power resides in you. It is released by trusting in the Father. Remember the woman with the issue of blood? She touched Jesus’ CLOTHES in total TRUST and healing was the AUTOMATIC response of the Father using the Holy Spirit. Why are we settling for less?!!?? If the Father can use that Spirit to completely and totally renew, restore, and improve a decomposing human body (which is what was in the tomb), then why can’t He do the same with whatever condition YOU have? The answer is that He can. Of course He can. There is NO LIMITATION on Him. The limitation is us. We limit Him (Matthew 16:19; 18:18). Interestingly, both those scripture references are about RELATIONSHIPS in context. It is through our relationship with the Father that aspects of our lives are bound and loosed. This isn’t instruction to bind the enemy and wrestle them to the ground. This is instruction about opening ourselves to correction, instruction, and worship or binding ourselves to correction, instruction, and worship. If we limit Adonai by rebellion, we tie His hands. Not because He can’t force us. Because He loves us too much not to let us choose.

Adonai wants EVERY human to be saved (2 Peter 3:9), but we choose differently. Well, if you choose to be obedient you’ll get into the Word and meditate on it. You’ll let Adonai use it to alter you from the inside out. Spiritually we can be renewed and mentally renewed and physically renewed (3 John 1:2). He can give life to you at a cellular level. Moses had perfect eyesight, was able to father children, and was climbing mountains when he was 120 years old (Deuteronomy 34:7). Adonai is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11). If you are willing to cultivate a relationship with Adonai the way Moses was – and Moses would NOT move if Adonai wasn’t going to (Exodus 33:14-23) – then Adonai will be with you in the same way. You will be vigorous at 120 years old. I age because we all age. But I refuse to deteriorate. I refuse by CHOOSING to have a relationship with Adonai and be a good steward of what He has given me. I will strive to be obedient. I will humbly submit to Him. He’s Adonai. He’s RIGHTEOUS. He Is Who Is. The Great I AM. Who am I to question Him? I will strive to get the Word into me more and more and more until (eventually) I will see everything from His point of view and not mine. I will (eventually) agree to do everything His way and not my way. I won’t be completely successful until I am standing before the Throne in person, but I am choosing not to walk backward. I may stall. I may fall. But I will rise again and again and again through Jesus who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13; Isaiah 12:2). I will age. But I will NOT deteriorate and will be in FULL possession of my strength and faculties right up until I choose to leave this earth – unless Jesus returns before then.

If the raising from the dead power of the Ruach HaKodesh is inside me, and the Father who wields it wants me whole and well and complete (1 Thessalonians 5:23), and the Father wants me to have long life (Psalm 91:16) which I am satisfied with (length and quality, and the Father wants me to have abundant life body, spirit, and soul (John 10:10); why should I settle for ANYTHING less? The power is in me and the Father is seeking to release it (2 Chronicles 16:9). I am willing. Are YOU willing to let Him? We are in the Age of Grace (Romans 5:1-2). Let Him give you everything Jesus won for you and paid for on and through the cross. Anything less is NOT the abundant life Jesus came to win for us.

You ALREADY have your healing. You ALREADY have your restoration. Jesus paid for it. Jesus won it. Jesus released it. Accept it. Take what you ALREADY have and ACTIVATE it. You have the key. Turn it in the ignition. The Father has gassed it up through Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the fuel. The engine will fire up. It WILL. Jesus came for that purpose (Matthew 8:16-17). He paid for it (1 Peter 2:24). Flip the switch with your trust in His Word. Trust Him and walk it out. Act like it. Don’t let ANYTHING tell you different. He’ll lead you as you listen. We are FREE and we have a cell-renewing Spirit inside us. Let the Father renew you as He wants to. He watches over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). Don’t bind His hands. Release Him by giving Him permission to work as He wills.

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Psalm 132:11

“The Lord made a reliable promise to David; he will not go back on his word. He said, “I will place one of your descendants on your throne.” The Messiah would be the SEED of David. Direct fruit from David’s body. The problem is that the ling of kings was broken. Descendants of Solomon were removed and could not sit on the throne of David. Still, there WAS the prophecy and Adonai’s Word does not fail to produce fruit. “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David” (Luke 1:32). Jesus was a direct descendant of David, but NOT through Solomon. It was through Nathan. Nathan was the eight son of David, his mother was Bathsheba, and Jesus was a direct descendant. Jesus is the seed of David. Jesus IS the Messiah!
