Fear No Fear

“As for those who turn aside to their twisted ways, the Lord shall lead them away with the other workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!” (Psalm 125:5, MEV). Not the side you want to be on. The side that is against God. The final resting place for evil was not made for human spirits (Matthew 25:41). It was created when the devil rebelled. We were never meant to go there. But if you side with the devil – the side that refuses God – then you’ll end up where they end up. The Great Day of the Lord isn’t the rapture. It’s a Day when God will drag the wicked – those who are willingly rebelling against God on purpose – off the earth. It won’t be the end of all things. It won’t be the end of wickedness. But it will be a reduction in who is here. Oh, they’ll use the alien abduction angle they’ve been preparing for the rapture. There will be others claiming that it was the rapture and you missed it. It will be a Day of signs and wonders. It will not be a pleasant afternoon stroll. It NEVER IS when a judgment comes. We see it again and again and again throughout the Word. God is a God of MERCY and GRACE. But when you KNOW He is real and STILL rebel, the cup will fill up and sooner or later you have to drink it. God loves us too much to let us wander in wickedness forever. It spreads like a cancer. And like with cancer, it must be got rid of. Cut out. Irradiated. Removed. God loves us VERY much. He will REMOVE the wicked from among us. May the rest of us choose to follow His footsteps instead of seeking to take the place of the removed. I’d rather be in God’s real estate than the place prepared for rebels. Wouldn’t you?
