Fear No Fear

“I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will surely gather together the remainder of Israel. I will set them like sheep of Bozrah. Like a herd in the midst of their pasture they will be in tumult from people” (Micah 2:12, LEB). Yahweh loves the Jews. They are His chosen people. They are precious in His sight. I cringe EVERY TIME someone chooses to strike against them. It doesn’t matter if it is prejudice, racial slurs, or a missile. It doesn’t matter if it is in the west, the east, or Israel. It doesn’t matter if the Jews are acting how someone thinks they should, whether they are going good or ill, or doing something society doesn’t feel comfortable with. They are God’s chosen people. HE can take care of them. HE can talk to them. HE can guide them, if they will be guided. He will gather them. He loves them. He will see their enemies put down. Through Jesus, we have been adopted into the family. What is true for them is true for us. God loves ALL His children. He even loves the misguided, lost, and rebellious. He takes no pleasure in what justice demands. He is RIGHTEOUS. He is JUST. He is a protecting Father. He loves us all so much. Pray for the children of God – Jew first, and then Gentile. Pray for the lost. Pray for the rebellious. Pray for the deceived. May God’s EVER PRESENT MERCY be upon us all.
