Fear No Fear

“Praise the Lord! Praise the name of the Lord praise Him, O servants of the Lord you who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God!” (Psalm 135:1-2, MEV). It is good and right for us to praise the Lord in the House of the Lord (church). It’s one of the reasons we get together as believers. But “Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16). WE are the House of the Lord in the New Covenant. We should be praising and thanking the Lord constantly. We are to celebrate Him. We are to be clear about it. We are to boast about Him. We are to declare ‘Look what the Lord has done for me’ NOT as bragging, but to first give Him glory and second to show what He could do for those who hear you (Acts 10:34). God could be anything that He wanted to be. He CHOSE to be love and good. He is Love. He is a GOOD God. When we praise Him, WE get blessed too! That shows His love for us. That shows how good He is to us. We are left out of NOTHING. We cannot out-give God. He is a BLESSER. We were created to bring Him pleasure (Revelation 4:11), but giving Him the praise He deserves brings us pleasure (Psalm 135:3). His blessing is within us (Ephesians 1:3) and we should know it (Ephesians 1:18). Lift up your voice and bless the One who blessed you. He is a GOOD God!
