Fear No Fear

“There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5, MEV). If Jesus can mediate between God and humanity, Jesus can mediate between anyone and anything. Think about it. God the Father is (like Jesus and Holy Spirit) totally and completely righteous. Humanity is NOT. That is about as an opposing position as you can find. Yet Jesus, in and through Himself, mediates for us. He finds the common ground (Himself) and makes sure both sides are seeing US in HIM before ADONAI. If Jesus can do THAT, then WHY aren’t we asking for His help with everything else? Why aren’t we viewing our marriages through JESUS? Why aren’t we considering our employee relations through JESUS? Why aren’t we interacting with our children through JESUS? He is THE mediator. He KNOWS each side intimately. He can see the heart of EVERY issue AND the words to communicate it in the most positive, uplifting, encouraging, and beneficial way. We should be relying on HIS guidance and HIS words, not ours. We should get Him involved in EVERY aspect of our lives. He can even solve our situations BEFORE they develop into something we’ll choose to call a problem. He can regulate our EVERYTHING – if we’ll only submit to Him and ask. We should be SEEKING the mediator’s help and then enjoy all the positive MORE THAN that comes afterward (Matthew 6:33). If we put Jesus into EVERY aspect of our lives, EVERY aspect of our lives will be designed to give glory to the Father and THAT means abundant relationships, abundant intimacy, abundant blessing, abundant LIFE (John 10:10; 3 John 2). Fights can become a thing of the past for all of us. We can choose to go to Him for mediation INSTEAD of strife-ing with each other. We can let HIM, the One Who Is Love, turn our lives into living witnesses all about Him.
