Fear No Fear

Does God then give you the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law or by your believing what you heard?

Everything in the Kingdom of God works like this. Everything. Without this principle, there is nothing. With this principle is everything. It is THAT simple. Religion doesn’t solve problems. Culture doesn’t solve problems. Human governments or government institutions don’t solve problems. Trust in the truth about Jesus that you heard solves problems. Without trust you cannot please Elohim (Hebrews 11:6). Without trust you cannot receive from Elohim (Galatians 3:14). The trust is given to you BY Elohim by GRACE so that you CAN trust (Ephesians 2:8-9). From salvation to peace of mind to healing to leadership to finances to relationship to the route you take to work or school, EVERYTHING is received by TRUST IN JESUS of whom you have HEARD.

“How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.” But not all have obeyed the good news, for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” Consequently faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the preached word of Christ” (Romans 10:14-17, emphasis mine). It is not ANY hearing that does it. It is not ANY hearing that builds our trust. It is not ANY hearing whereby we receive. No. It is through the PREACHED WORD OF CHRIST. Our knowledge of who we are in Messiah Jesus determines who we are. “You have destroyed my people by failing to acknowledge me! Because you refuse to acknowledge me, I will reject you as my priests. Because you reject the law of your God, I will reject your descendants” (Hosea 4:6). WE are the priests of the New Covenant (1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 5:10). The Law of Grace which states: Jesus did it for us because He is love (John 3:16-18). It is the knowledge of this and the need to submit to it that is our acknowledgement of who Jesus is. “But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to, and having been freed from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness. (I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh.) For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification” (Romans 6:17-19).

How can the body of believers know that everything coming against us, every situation of struggle that we find ourselves in, is illegal if they don’t know who they are in Messiah Jesus? There is only ONE circumstance by which you can be legally persecuted in ANY form. Preaching Jesus. “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things about you falsely on account of me. Rejoice and be glad because your reward is great in heaven, for they persecuted the prophets before you in the same way” (Matthew 5:10-12). ““Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. You will be hated by all the nations because of my name” (Matthew 24:9). ““If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me first” (John 15:18). “But they have no root in themselves and do not endure. Then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they fall away” (Mark 4:17). Because of our trust in Jesus. Because we preach the Word. Because they hate the Name of Jesus. Because they hate the Righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). Anything that isn’t related to that? It’s illegal. Sickness is illegal. Disease is illegal. Poverty is illegal. Lack is illegal. Anxiety is illegal. Depression is illegal. It is NEVER what you ARE that keeps you bound. It is what you THINK that you are NOT. That is what keeps you bound.

If we know who we are in Jesus. If we know the authority of the Name of Jesus. If we know how, when, and where we can wield that authority. If we know our Kingdom Rights and exactly what the Father backs up. If we know what is and is not permissible to be in our life. If we know those things, then we cannot be touched by all the illegal stuff. If you know who you are in Jesus, witchcraft cannot touch you. If you know who you are in Jesus, bloodline issues cannot touch you. If you know who you are in Jesus and stand on His Word in humble submission to Adonai, the devil will be running from you and not able to touch you. Nothing changes until your mind changes.

Information does not bring transformation. We can KNOW about Jesus, but not be transformed. The demons are in that exact boat (James 2:19). We need renewal and it comes from Adonai, NOT our own efforts. “Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God—what is good and well-pleasing and perfect” (Romans 12:2). We learn the legal system and can operate that way – there is benefit to the Courtrooms of Heaven. But it isn’t Adonai’s BEST. We can be healed over time or through the intervention of doctors. But it isn’t Adonai’s BEST. We can learn coping mechanisms and participate in therapy and learn new emotional patterns. But it isn’t Adonai’s BEST. What is Adonai’s BEST? Far above all that we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We are the sum total of all that we have been conditioned to think. By the world, by our studies, by our family and friends, by our social interactions, and by the Word and Adonai. What we have given the most mental space and time to, that is the major factor in our conditioning. We don’t change until conviction takes place. We don’t renew until Adonai renews us. We can AGREE with something, but we don’t OBEY it. We MUST submit FIRST. And then it happens.

If we will submit to the Word and READ IT. THINK about it. STUDY it (at whatever level we are able to). THINK about it again. Re-read it if necessary. As we do this and LISTEN to what the Spirit has to say. LISTEN to what Jesus has to say. LISTEN to what the Father has to say. And both AGREE and OBEY what He says. It doesn’t matter if you think it is innocuous for a boy to wear a dress. It doesn’t matter if you agree that we should let kids be kids. ALL that matters is what Jesus says about it. From ADONAI’s point of view is it a POSITIVE or a NEGATIVE. If it is a NEGATIVE, cut it out. Stop it. Do NOT be arbitrary. Explain. Show. Give evidence. Present your case. Let everyone involved know EXACTLY why you have the position you have – which is Adonai’s position. If we will AGREE with Adonai, do what He says, and let Him renew our minds, then Adonai’s BEST gets closer and closer. All we need to do is agree. The most powerful force on this earth is the will of a human being (male and female). WE need to change our mind to HIS thinking as He renews our thinking to His. If we do not CHOOSE His best, will will not RECEIVE His best.

Get teaching on Jesus. Get teaching about Jesus. Find Jesus in the Word. Renew your thinking to His thinking. We have access to the Mind of Messiah (1 Corinthians 2:16). The nature of Elohim is now OUR nature (2 Peter 1:3-4) IN and THROUGH Jesus. The Word was given to train us (2 Timothy 3:16). The Spirit was given to us as the manual to the Word (John 15:26). So that we can submit, stand on the Word, and have victory over everything based on what we know to be our rights in Jesus and who we are in Him (James 4:7). Believe what you have heard about Jesus. It is the key to the door that Jesus keeps open for us all to walk through. Nothing is stopping you except what YOU think.

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Isaiah 9:6

“For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called Wonderful Adviser, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” The Messiah would be the Prince of Peace (sar shalom). The Semetic root of sar actually means ‘naval’. Yup. That naval. The place where the umbilical cord was. Through the blood vessels in the umbilical cord, the foetus receives all the necessary nutrition, oxygen, and life support from the mother through the placenta. Waste products and carbon dioxide from the foetus are sent back through the umbilical cord and placenta to the mother’s circulation to be eliminated. It is the source of all things for that baby. Messiah would be the naval of peace, the place where all our non-peace gets eliminated. The place where we get all our spiritual nutrition. The place that is the focal point of our spiritual life support. Messiah would be THAT important and He would wrestle for us, persist for us, and persevere for us. “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage—I have conquered the world” (John 16:33). Jesus is our source. We are connected to Him by the vine-cord (John 15). Without Him we are a dead foetus. With Him we are alive, growing, protected, at peace, and ready for whatever birth He has in mind for us in any area He decides He wants us birthed. He is the Way (John 14:6). He is the Source (1 Corinthians 8:6). Jesus IS the Messiah!
