Fear No Fear

“The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down” (Psalm 145:14, MEV). God does NOT want people to fail. Not in life. Not in salvation. He does NOT enjoy judgment (Ezekiel 33:11), but judgment MUST come on wickedness. God doesn’t leave us alone but ACTIVELY tries to get everyone to accept the Way He made for us to AVOID judgment and death (1 Timothy 2:4-6). He picks us up when we miss it. He raises us up when we let ourselves get overwhelmed by what’s around us or our own failings – Jesus said we can CHOOSE whether or not to be anxious, stressed, or depressed (John 14:1). God loves us SO MUCH He is ALWAYS there to coach us, encourage us, pick us up, hug us, correct us, and help us get through the consequences of our actions. We have a PARTNER in Him. He is the senior partner, the Father leading us into the freedom He has declared for us. Our performance doesn’t determine His response because He LOVES us. And that will make us eager NOT to transgress, NOT to choose to sin, but instead choose to OBEY and to SUBMIT to His point of view – because of LOVE. He is SO good to us. He is a loving, consistent, and ever-present help in ALL of our circumstances, times, and troubles. He is a GREAT God.
