Fear No Fear

“Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power! Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the lyre and harp! Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing; praise Him with stringed instruments and flute! Praise Him with loud cymbals; praise Him with the clanging cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150. MEV). Praise is so important, God has given us the ability to perform it everywhere with everything. Whether it is the things He has created or the things He has done. Whether we do it with wind instruments, string instruments, or percussion. Whether we do it lying in bed or dancing around. Whether we do it as a call to war (Ephesians 6:12) or as a call to peace (James 4:7). Regardless of circumstances, if we have breath we can praise the Lord (Jonah 2:7). It is right and good that we do. It opens doors. It adjusts our thinking. It gets us in His yard and keeps us under His wings. It is a HUGE blessing in our lives and He has enabled us to be able to do it. Not because He wants it in and of itself, but because it is a blessing to US to bless Him. It is uplifting to US to lift Him up. He coded it into our DNA so that we ALWAYS had a way back to Him and back under His blessing. To get us in line with His ideas, His morals, and His thinking. He loves us too much not to. He is SO GOOD to us.
