Fear No Fear

“By faith Sarah herself also received the ability to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised” (Hebrews 11:11, MEV). Is this person neurodivergent? Is that person ‘challenged’? Does this one have a mental disease or condition? These are all questions people don’t ‘like’ to hear. They don’t like it because it makes the person being referred to seem less than ‘normal’. Most people dealing with these things don’t like to feel abnormal. Most professionals treating these people don’t want the patients feeling abnormal. They are simply differences, the thinking goes, and differences can be acknowledged without making the people feel less than. The truth is that humanity CANNOT say what is or is not normal because WE have no way of measuring it. We are in the box, as it were, and do not know what is ‘normal’ except everything in the box – our viewpoint is SUBJECTIVE. God, however, is OUTSIDE the box and therefore the ONLY objective perspective that exists. Only what GOD says is normal IS normal. Sarah had to agree with God’s thinking. Sarah had to believe He could do what He said He could do and then trust Him that it would come to pass. ONLY THEN could it happen. It was ONLY when she aligned herself with what God SAID – His WORDS – that she was able to conceive in her old age. They could have bedded each other three times a day for a decade and NOTHING would have happened. ONLY when we agree with God’s WORD on what is NORMAL can we have it. This is how we receive healing, blessing, miracles, signs, and wonders. This is how EVERYTHING happens. God speaks, WE trust, WE believe, and THEN we receive. If you are willing to do that, EVERYTHING God says is possible WILL BE possible. He promised (Matthew 19:26). Do you believe? Will you trust? If you will, you can walk in HIS normal: nothing missing and nothing broken (Isaiah 26:3-4).
