Psalm 92 is thanking God for His LOVE and His FAITHFULNESS. Those two things are cause for singing and worship. He is THAT good.
Psalm 93 is praising God for His eternal majesty. For His Throne that was already eternally established before anything was created.
Psalm 94 is a declaration that the psalmist has placed themselves squarely in the hands of God. That God is THE protector and THE avenger of their lives. The fortress in which they have refuge.
Psalm 95 is a call to worship, a falling on their knees to acknowledge who it is who is leading them, guiding them, and caring for them.
Psalm 96 is a praise to the God who IS God. Who IS just. Who DOES judge. Because He is worthy to be praised. The nations will declare it. Creation itself declares it. He is God and He is to be praised.
Psalm 97 is rejoicing in the fact that God is where the buck stops. That He is Righteous. That He is Holy. That He is Ruler, Lord, and King. That we should rejoice in the Lord and be thankful that we have been empowered to remember His Name.
Psalm 98 is a command to praise God because He has done marvellous things. That the Lord did not keep salvation a secret, but revealed it and continues to reveal it to humanity. That the Lord remembers His children and does not forget His love toward those who are obedient to Him. The Lord is coming to judge and we should be praising Him for it because He is JUST and TRUE and RIGHTEOUS and ABLE to do it.
Psalm 99 is a thanksgiving for God’s mercy and forgiveness. It is a celebration of His Holiness. It is an acknowledgement of His position above all things.
Psalm 100 is a command to sing and serve with gladness. It is a thanksgiving shout to the Lord for His faithfulness in mercy. It is thankful that He endures and so does His truth.
Psalm 101 is a promise to walk in the Lord’s ways. It is an acknowledgement of what is required to have godly actions, words, and thoughts. It is declaring that the psalmist will be active in kicking what is evil from his path and his refusal to entertain it in any percentage at any time.
Psalm 108 is a declaration of the gladness in the heart of the psalmist because God has delivered and will deliver His people. God is worthy to be exalted. God is merciful. He saves with His right hand and God has declared WHAT and WHO is His. Amen.
