Healing Wings “Law of Life”

(All scripture from the NET, netbible.org, all rights reserved)

“The Lord God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”
Genesis 2:7 (emphasis added)

He breathed the breath of LIFE, not sickness. Not deterioration. Not entropy. Not fading health. We need to be redeemed to HIS point of view, so we can reject the message this fallen creation has developed by observing sin’s effects believing them to be natural. We don’t HAVE to go with the crowd. We don’t HAVE to settle for the curse. We can age, but not deteriorate. We can have the strength of our youth in our ‘old age’. We can climb mountains at a hundred and twenty. Have babies at a hundred AND keep up with them as they grow. We can be the head and NOT the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13).

Elohim breathed life into us. He gave us the Law of Life. It is a law. A law is a binding custom or practice of a community : a rule of conduct or action prescribed or formally recognised as binding or enforced by a controlling authority. The Kingdom is Life. The Law of Life is the binding practise of the Kingdom. As soon as the devil rebelled against that he was tossed out – even though he and his angels fought hard to keep their place (Revelation 12:7-8; Luke 10:18). Life was and is the prescribed action of the Kingdom. Adonai IS Life. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. The Word was with God in the beginning. All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind. And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it” (John 1:1-5).

Life was the Law and it was also the Adamic Covenant. To BE the image of Elohim, to BE Life and do all things pertaining to Life, to multiply in all areas by being productive, to increase what he was given, and to subdue the Earth bringing that principle of Life to every corner and making it ALL Eden which was a mirror of Heaven. It’s all in Genesis 1:26-30 and 2:7-25. There was no toil, no shame, no death, no unproductiveness, no poverty, no sickness or disease, and no lack of increase in any area of that Life. All those things are a result of the curse. Which was birthed from sin. Which is the Law of Death, which prior to humanity’s rebellion (Genesis 3) was illegal here on Earth. It could not get in. It could not operate. Its effects were completely and totally unknown.

It existed (it was created) when Adonai gave freedom to Adam. It was the result of the command of freedom. To be free you MUST have boundaries. If you don’t have boundaries you have chaos. Formlessness. “Then the Lord God commanded the man, “You may freely eat fruit from every tree of the orchard, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17). Adam was FREE. Commanded to be free. Could do WHATEVER he wanted to. The boundary? Do not eat this ONE tree. Adam COULD have eaten from the Tree of Life even. But not THIS tree. He wasn’t ready. He wasn’t authorised. It was his boundary. As a result of that boundary, death was created BUT it was illegal here. Had no place. It would NEVER have had a place if the boundary wasn’t violated. The Law of Death, a direct consequence of disobedience (which is sin), would have no way to enter this world without the violation of the boundary which framed the freedom which Adam was given because he had a Covenant of Life with Almighty Elohim.

Boundaries were crossed. Sin occurred. Death had a legal right (duty even) to move in. And the curse of the Law – the opposite of Life – started to dominate our thinking. Since we ARE made in the image and likeness of Adonai, what we think is what we become. What we think creates our reality to some extent (within the boundaries by Adonai: dominate your environment, not people). The curse dominated, still dominates, and will dominate until the end of the end. But the curse ONLY dominates those under the Law of Death. It has no legal right to anyone or anything under the Law of Life. Jesus paid for sin. He broke the hold of the curse. The Father defeated Death by resurrecting Jesus – through Ruach HaKodesh – to life. Life that was untouched by Death and outside the Law. Jesus was resurrected into the Covenant of Life. The Adamic Covenant not restored, but renewed to the Divine Covenant of Life. Death is illegal in Jesus. Jesus IS the Life (John 10:10 & 14:6).

In Jesus, there IS no death. No toil. No shame. No unproductiveness. No poverty. No sickness or disease. No lack of increase in any area. In Jesus, there is NOTHING but Life and abundant life at that. Jesus is the Last Adam. “So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the one from heaven, so too those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear[aa] the image of the man of heaven” (1 Corinthians 15:45-49). Jesus is the Living One. “When I saw him I fell down at his feet as though I were dead, but he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last, and the one who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive—forever and ever—and I hold the keys of death and of Hades!” (Revelation 1:17-18).

Jesus is it. He is THE Way to the Kingdom of God. He IS the Kingdom of God. It is in HIM that we get there. In HIM that we operate there. In HIM we receive Blessing from there. The Father’s Will. In Heaven. Brought to Earth by us in JESUS. We can’t do it without Him because He IS IT. He IS the covenant (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). That is why we have to stay in Him. It is the ONLY way to be connected to Adonai Elohim. “I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit. You are clean already because of the word that I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me—and I in him—bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing” (John 15:1-5).

We have to trust in His position in order to trust in our position in Him. “God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Easy to say, hard to believe. Do you LOOK like the Righteousness of Elohim in Jesus? We do to Adonai. He needs to retrain our minds to Adonai’s point of view on everything (Romans 12:2). We need to see what He sees. Hear what He speaks. And repeat it. That’s what Jesus did. When we are in Jesus, we’ll find ourselves doing what He did. Imitation. That’s love. Imitation out of perfect love? That’s abiding in Jesus. That’s obedience to Him. Loving AS He loved BECAUSE He loved us and WE get to love others. We get to because that is righteous behaviour. We get to because that’s how they see Him. We get to because He loves us and wants us to have privilege. This is the Grace we were given. The right to become and be called the Children of Elohim.

We were born to LIFE. We do not need to accept death and the curse. Yes, our flesh will cease to function when we go to Heaven. But it can happen to a body that is totally healthy, totally functional, totally fit, and totally unlike anything the world tells you to expect. But it is ONLY in Jesus that Life happens. It is only in Him that the breath breathes. If we want to be living beings in the full and abundant sense of the word, then we need to humbly submit to the Father’s will, put on Jesus’ yoke (which is light – Matthew 11:28-30), and walk this Life with Him. It’s all possible WITH Him. “Jesus looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, but for God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). ALL things. Don’t accept less than ALL you can have in Jesus. Live His abundant life.

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Isaiah 45:23

I solemnly make this oath—what I say is true and reliable: ‘Surely every knee will bow to me” The Messiah will be the judge. It is part of His Anointing. Part of His calling. Part of who He is. The judging will be just. It will be righteous. And it will always be at the behest of the Father. “For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God.”” (Romans 14:11). “Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,” (John 5:22). Jesus was not circumspect about this. He fully explained to the Pharisetical leaders what His role was. “just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself, and he has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and will come out—the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation. I can do nothing on my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me” (John 5:26-20). Jesus did the will of the Father. Always. Jesus is the ONLY one qualified to judge us. Jesus IS Messiah!
