Healing Wings “Procrasti-What now?”

(All scripture from the NET, netbible.org, all rights reserved)

Reuben continued, “Don’t shed blood! Throw him into this cistern that is here in the wilderness, but don’t lay a hand on him.” (Reuben said this so he could rescue Joseph from them and take him back to his father.)
Genesis 37:22 (emphasis added)

This is Jesus’ job. This is what He came to do. To rescue us from sin and death and take us back to our Father. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him” (John 3:17). “Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you have known me, you will know my Father too. And from now on you do know him and have seen him” (John 14:6-7). “And all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation. In other words, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting people’s trespasses against them, and he has given us the message of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). WE moved away from Elohim (Genesis 3). It is US who need to be reconciled to Him, BUT we’re enemies of Him in our natural state (Romans 5:8). Jesus came to do that. To stand in our place, on our behalf, and take the wrath of Elohim onto sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). It is US that need to come to Him in reconciliation and take advantage of what Jesus did for us (Ephesians 1:9-10).

By Adonai’s Grace and Love, we are able to take what Jesus is and reconcile ourselves to Adonai. It doesn’t mean getting a free ticket to pearly gates. It means the opportunity to step back into the place of humanity: yoked. Not enslaved. Not forced. Yoked side-by-side with Jesus under the direction of the Father. Originally humanity was under the direction of the Father. We rebelled. The act of Jesus is to come in a rescue us. To step under the yoke and take the lion’s share of the burden, asking us only to stand beside Him and walk with Him. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and learn from me because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry” (Matthew 11:28-30).

It is a complete shift of mindset (Romans 12:2). It is a complete reliance on His system. The original system was VERY simple. Humanity WORKED to tend and expand the Garden of Eden, and ALL their needs were met (Genesis 1:26-30; 2:15-24; 3:2). These days – from our point of view – things are more complicated. But if we will be obedient, if we will work where He has us to, then ALL our needs will be met. Period. There isn’t anything else to His worldview. Jesus gave us TOTAL VICTORY in HIM. To get the benefit of it, we need to be yoked to Him. It is Adonai’s will for you NOT to get a divorce. It is Adonai’s will for you NOT to be in poverty. It is Adonai’s will for you NOT to be sick, diseased, or having a ‘condition’. It is Adonai’s will for you NOT to be anxious, depressed, or any other negative mental state. It is Adonai’s will for you NOT to be ruled by your feelings. It is Adonai’s will for you to emote HIS emotions ON PURPOSE. It is Adonai’s will for you to have victory in all things. It is Adonai’s will for you to suffer no persecution outside of persecution for believing in Him and walking in His victory. And it is all IN JESUS. All of it.

Who are we in Jesus? His righteousness. Where are we in Jesus? Seated next to the Father at His right hand – we are the Body of Messiah so where He sits, we are: right below His head. These are TRUTHS. This is how it all happens. We act according to the signals coming from our head, which is Jesus. We act and things happen. We aren’t the SOURCE. We aren’t the POWER. We aren’t the DOER. We’re the limb, the tool, the method. That’s it. We are the humbly submitted to Him, obeying when He says do something, not with grumblings but with thanksgiving.

Jesus came to rescue us. The devil set a trap, got humanity in a pit, and is eager for us to stop struggling, give up the spirit, and die. Jesus came to save us. He leapt into that pit, picked us up, shoved us, lifted us, helped us, encouraged us, and got us out of that pit. He took our clothes and got back in. He took our place. When the time came to die, He died. He took it. Fiercely. He was unwilling for us to stay in that pit in any way, shape, or form. And when the Father lifted Him up out of that pit of penalty, Jesus opened His hand to us. We can take His hand and be lifted up with Him or we can stay standing at the edge of that pit, naked and alone. Sooner or later the devil will talk us back into that pit. That’s if he even has to. There are people that on purpose jump back in and claim freedom from the burden of Blessing.

The whole Blessing exists in Jesus. No disease. No sickness. No mental problems. No depression. No anxiety. No poverty. No negativity. No doubt. No lies. No defeat. Only TRUTH. Only OVERCOMING (John 16:33). Overcoming is overwhelming someone. It’s getting the better of someone. It’s defeating them. It is gaining the superior position. It is a complete overpowering. It is gaining mastery. It is the bringing down or destruction of existing power. That’s what Jesus did. That’s what we have in Him. Does that mean no trouble? No. The devil rebelled in heaven and tried to keep his place, but got kicked down here (Revelation 12:8). Jesus finished him (John 19:30). The devil is fighting that, using us, and trying to keep THIS place. He’ll get kicked down, but he’s not out yet. He’s looking to break everything, throw a fit, and take us with him (John 10:10).

In JESUS we have what He has. We have HIS overcoming. We have HIS authority (John 14:13-14). We have HIS mind (1 Corinthians 2:16). We have HIS fruit (Galatians 5:22-23). We have HIS Spirit (Romans 8:9). Instead of using His things to get our stuff done, we need to use OURSELVES to get HIS stuff done. His resources aren’t at our disposal. We are at His disposal so that His resources can flow through us. To release His authority and power and get the devil off a situation, to get the Father’s will to manifest here as it does in heaven, and to receive the manifestation of it from Him by our Trust.

Our reconciliation then is us moving ourselves into the place where we can receive the renewal of our minds to what Adonai says is possible. It happens by CHOICE. It happens through hearing Jesus’ Gospel of Trust preached. It happens through study and prayer of the Word. It happens through praise and thanksgiving about what has been done and what we have in Jesus. It happens through knowing who we are in Messiah Jesus. It happens through our surety and trust that Adonai hasn’t lied, that everything IS possible, and humbly submitting to Him in all areas and all things. When we are reconciled, our minds change. When our minds change, we get connected to Him. We stop kicking against the goads, and we start truly trusting in what the Word SAYS. Trust is the lifeblood of the Kingdom. Bless Him, praise Him, and be restored today!

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Isaiah 49:5

So now the Lord says, the one who formed me from birth to be his servant—he did this to restore Jacob to himself, so that Israel might be gathered to him; and I will be honored in the Lord’s sight, for my God is my source of strength—” Messiah would be a servant from the womb. Never looking for self-aggrandisement. Never putting Himself before what Adonai wanted. “Listen: You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus” (Luke 1:31). “but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature” (Philippians 2:7). Proclaimed by an angel. Jesus – the SON OF YAHWEH – chose to give up His form in favour of a human form. Fully. Unable to do ANYTHING without Ruach HaKodesh (which is why He did nothing of power during His entire life up to the baptism by John). He came to serve us. He came to serve His Father. Jesus WAS and IS a servant. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Jesus was servant from BEFORE the womb. Jesus IS Messiah!
