(All scripture from Lexham English Bible, Copyright 2012 Logos Bible Software)

Chapter ten is the beginning of a long section of general proverbs by Solomon that goes right up through the first part of chapter twenty-two. Chapter ten is mostly about the benefits of godly living the wise enjoy.

Chapter eleven is mostly about the negative consequences living obstinately or like a fool will bring you.

Chapter twelve is mostly about the reputation our actions develop in those around us and the consequences of that reputation. There is also a focus on how the wise can help those around them be better and have better.

Chapter thirteen is mostly about the quality of life we reap from our actions. The benefits of wise children, helpful neighbours, good workers, and prudent people.
