Fear No Fear

I commission you as my spokesman; I cover you with the palm of my hand, to establish the sky and to found the earth, to say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’

Jesus gave us a roadmap to the full engagement of our trust in Adonai. “Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). He is THE WAY that brings us to the TRUTH. Without that TRUTH and revelation knowledge of it in our spirit, we cannot hope to live the LIFE on the other side of the Truth. But that is why Jesus came. So we COULD have abundant life (John 10:10). To do that we need to know the truth. Without the truth, how would we recognise the lies we’ve been told by the devil and the world? Without the truth, how could we realise the place we’re meant to be in? You don’t always realise the level of darkness you are in until someone turns on the light.

That light is turned on by TRUST. Trust in Adonai. Trust in His Word. Trust in the process laid out for us. OUR trust that He gave us (Mark 11:22). It has to be us who has trust because Adonai has chosen to work through us (Isaiah 6:8). He seeks someone to work WITH Him. Someone who will be there to release into the Earth the power Adonai is directing at the Earth (Isaiah 51:18). Essentially, someone to open the door right there in that spot. That’s free will in cooperation with what Adonai wills, not us trying to force Him to move how WE want (Luke 22:42; Matthew 6:9-10).

If we don’t mix the Word with our trust, nothing happens. All the power in the universe right there, but nothing happening because no one is flicking the switch. If we don’t engage our faith, there is no move detectable by humanity. Adonai is always there and always moving, but He chooses to move WITH humanity (males and females). He has done His part. His power is available. Raising from the dead power is right there inside you. But if you don’t engage it by your trust, you’ll never see it manifest.

The Word tells us WHAT is available and HOW it is available. It tells us about obedience to the Father’s will. Submitting to how, when, and what He wants to do. Life doesn’t just happen. We need to find the WAY, interact with the TRUTH, and THEN we get to experience the LIFE. The ONLY way to do it is to let Ruach HaKodesh lead you. The Word lights our way (Psalm 119:105). The Word is a guide (Romans 15:4). Adonai uses it to renew OUR minds to comprehend HIS Way correctly (Romans 12:2), “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). It is living and it can be interacted with. ALL of it is the LIVING WORD.

“Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Knowing the Word becomes knowing the Truth. Accepting that Truth, submitting to the yoke, enables us to engage that Truth because we are yoked. Humbled before Adonai Elohim. Doing it His way because we RECOGNISE it as THE way to do things. That HIS point of view is the CORRECT point if view AND we rejoice in that. The Word in the mouth of a believer submitted to Adonai’s will is a POWERFUL thing, because they are actively obeying instead of actively trying to use Adonai’s Word their way. HIS Way is correct and righteous and it unlocks the promises of Adonai. It places them within our reach, because ALL promises are promises IN JESUS.

His Word is truth. His promises are true. And when we are submitted to Him, His Words that He gives us (Luke 12:11-12) are Words of His power. He uses them to change this world. “Because of that, the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies said to me: “Because these people have spoken like this, I will make the words that I put in your mouth like fire. And I will make this people like wood, which the fiery judgments you speak will burn up” (Jeremiah 5:14). The TRUTH of the Gospel can burn up sickness. Burn up disease. Burn up demonic possession. Burn up mental conditions. Burn up political systems. Burn up the limitation of natural law. It can do ANYTHING that Adonai desires it to. But nothing starts without someone mixing their trust in His Word with His words.

“For we had good news proclaimed to us just as they did. But the message they heard did them no good, since they did not join in with those who heard it in faith” (Hebrews 4:2). The hearing of the Word without mixing it with Trust is useless. Stillborn. Not the plan. The way it works is having our trust operating WITH His Word under His yoke submitted to His will and His desire to do what He wants when and how He wants. THIS is the position of an effective spokesperson. A spokesperson is a person who speaks as the representative of another or others often in a professional capacity. We have been given this office. To accurately represent Jesus and His Covenant (Gospel) here on earth. “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people! You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden. People do not light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good deeds and give honor to your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:13-16). We don’t just shout it out. We LIVE it out through His Love. “I give you a new commandment—to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. Everyone will know by this that you are my disciples—if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35).

It is following the Way that brings us to the truth. We cannot do that outside the yoke. We must move along the map. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me” (Matthew 16:24). We do it IN HIM (John 15:5). We are transformed from the inside out. “for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, but are made powerful by God for tearing down strongholds. We tear down arguments and every arrogant obstacle that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obey Christ. We are also ready to punish every act of disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete” (2 Corinthians 10:4-6). If we don’t put the WORD first, other information and other knowledge will take that place and put us into a place where we are ineffective and wandering. We NEED the Shepherd to lead us. We need to LISTEN to Him. One of the main ways we have is the Word. If we let OTHER things dominate our mind, we will NOT hear that still small voice. That voice that is quiet in order to give you the moments we need to take it all in. “He says, “Stop your striving and recognize that I am God. I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”” (Psalm 46:10).

We are sheltered by His hand. We have been given the right to be called His children. We have been called to be His spokespersons in this Earth. We will walk in His victory over sin and death – and all their babies – when the Word dominates our mind, connecting us to Jesus, the Father, and guided by Ruach HaKodesh in learning, realising, and living according to the TRUTH that leads to Abundant Life. When we are THAT focused, sickness, disease, mental conditions, ailments, and all the rest, will NOT have enough space in our mind to affect us. When we SEEK HIM FIRST (Matthew 6:33) all else follows. The WAY leads to TRUTH which enables LIFE. Let the TRUTH dominate your mind so you can gain dominance over everything that comes against you BY that TRUTH. Transformation by His Light leads to victory because it enables us to walk in His Will. “So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). He might come back later, but he’ll be on the run then too because NOTHING and NO ONE can stand against Jesus! Submit to Jesus and let HIS mindset about you and your life become YOUR mindset and you’ll walk in victory no matter WHAT happens externally.

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Isaiah 49:6

“he says, “Is it too insignificant a task for you to be my servant, to reestablish the tribes of Jacob, and restore the remnant of Israel? I will make you a light to the nations, so you can bring my deliverance to the remote regions of the earth.”” Messiah would be salvation unto the ends of the Earth. Not just the Gentiles in one corner of it. Not just the Jews. No. Adonai Elohim grafted the Gentiles into His children. Messiah would be the salvation that allowed the ENTIRE Earth to come to Adonai. “so that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord, namely, all the Gentiles I have called to be my own,’ says the Lord, who makes these things known from long ago” (Acts 15:17-18). What was the experience of those Gentiles who met Jesus, the Risen Messiah? “And God, who knows the heart, has testified to them by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between them and us, cleansing their hearts by faith” (Acts 15:8-9). Jesus changes lives. Jesus enables Ruach HaKodesh to cleanse our hearts by our trust in Him by the power of the Father. Jesus IS Messiah!
