“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Him in love; He predestined us to adoption as sons to Himself through Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved” (Ephesians 1:3-6, MEV). Jesus is like that one kid in the neighbourhood who had ALL THE THINGS. He simply has everything. He’s also willing to let others ‘play’ with them. But you have to use them as intended. That doesn’t mean you can’t put your yo-joes into the aluminum falcon. It means that everything Jesus has, has a purpose. It was given its purpose a LONG time ago and it can ONLY be used according to that purpose. At the core, all things in Jesus are to be godly in intent and glorify the Father. We can’t use them for our own personal gains. We can’t use them to see happen what we want to see happen. We must use them the way the Father wants us to, how He shows us they are to be used. We must conform to HIS plan. HIS purpose. HIS wants. HIS morals. Not becuase they are limiting, but because all of that is FREEING. It takes us OUT of bondage and into the freedom of the Kingdom (Colossians 1:13). It breaks the shackles of broken thinking, broken morals, broken words, and broken deeds. By getting into alignment with the Word, we get into alignment with God, and we get to cooperate and participate in all the things Jesus has according to God’s will and to God’s glory. How great is that?
