Fear No Fear

“At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister to Him, and to bless in His name, to this day” (Deuteronomy 10:8, MEV). God is love. And God gave us love because we are made in His image and He IS love. He loves us. His Kingdom operates in and on love. He deserves love from us. Not feel-good feelings because we got something from Him. But a DECISION. A CHOICE to love. THAT is what He deserves. We don’t worship to get. We don’t tithe to receive. We don’t show up for church to tick off an attendance record. The prime motivation shouldn’t be to learn under bible-based, trust-founded teaching from the Word, either. Our prime motivation in ANY and EVERY thing we do SHOULD be love of Him. Everything we do and say and think should be for His glory. It should minister to Him. Like when we watch our children play or interact in a healthy and positive way. It makes us feel good. When we see them do well, it makes us proud. When we see them truly walking in the ways we know will bring them positive results, we are thrilled. It ministers to us. We should minister to God as well. As His children. As His creation. As His body. Our ministering to Him isn’t a duty. It is a PRIVILEGE. What an honour it is, to minister to the Most High God. What a BLESSING to be able to BLESS Him! He loved us so much, He could not conceive of robbing us of this opportunity to experience these emotions. To stand in these places. Joyfully. Fully. In TOTAL love. Whenever you get the chance, take it. Minister to the Lord. Give Him a heartfelt good morning. Say a loving good night. And send Him a beaming smile every time you notice Him throughout the day. He is love and YOU get to love Him back!
