Fear No Fear

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith which works through love” (Galatians 5:6, MEV). The devil has a hundred different reasons to do or not do something. What about money? What about desire? What about what other people think? What about the kids? What about how it makes you feel? What about your condition? What about that latest scientific finding? What about what the psychologists say? It goes on and on and on. Jesus, on the other hand, is not trying to deceive or confuse. He simply says the truth. Objective, righteous, eternal, TRUTH. He is THE Way. He is LIFE. He speaks and is TRUTH. Period. All the confusion, the reasoning, the but-I-don’t-like-that-isms that we struggle with are either from our flesh (which is selfish and needy) or the devil who wants us to miss any and every single thing the Lord has for us. A hundred different distractions from a hundred different sources. But there is Jesus. One message. One direction. One Source. Love. Love that we can TRUST in. Love that WORKS when we trust in Jesus. Nothing else matters. Nothing else means anything. This is THE thing. Jesus love us and everything Jesus has for us works through love when we trust in that love which is from Jesus (Ephesians 3:14-19). Don’t let yourself get misdirected. Stick to Jesus and lean into His love. It is TRUE and in it is EVERYTHING we could possibly need or want. He has that for us, if we will trust in Him.
