Fear No Fear

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2:13, MEV). What’s the deal when we miss it? When we think we believe something, but when push comes to shove we realise that we have no trust in Jesus in that situation? What happens with God? Nothing. Nothing happens with God without trust, so nothing happens. More importantly, nothing happens to change our relationship with God. He remains THE SAME. He cannot deny His character. When we trust in Jesus we engage what He has released to us. When we don’t trust in Jesus we DON’T engage what He has released to us. So it isn’t a situation where God hasn’t moved or hasn’t manifested His glory in a particular way. It’s a situation where WE have not put trust and belief in Him according to His Way in the correct way. Sometimes we don’t even understand what we’ve missed. How we stepped wrong or asked for the wrong thing or prayed the wrong prayer. Sometimes, everything we can see was right and yet we did not get the result we were eagerly expecting in full trust in Him. It can be frustrating, but it is only frustrating until we get revelation about it. That can only happens when we seek Him and there is always a time component to it, but we are not OWED anything. We are not owed revelation, explanation, or any kind of answer. We might not be able to handle it. What is good about this whole thing is that God doesn’t CHANGE. He is still the faithful, patient, loving, good, and GIVING God He always was. He still wants healing. He still wants no poverty. He still wants eyes to see. He still wants a relationship with us. He still wants everything He has always wanted AND He is not judging us by our performance or lack of performance. When things happen in ways we do NOT like, we can still give it to Him and REST in His goodness to us. His peace about it. We can still rely on Him! Praise His Holy Name! He is a VERY good God and a VERY good Father, full of Mercy and Goodness ALWAYS and FOREVER. No matter WHAT we think we see or experience. He is GOD and He is GOOD!
