Healing Wings “Do You See?”

(All scripture from the NET, netbible, org, all rights reserved)

Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, or that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”
Exodus 3:11 (emphasis added)

We are often the major thing that prevents Adonai from using who He wants where He wants to get done what He is GOING to get done. Unless we are dealing with our OWN selves, Adonai IS going to get done what He wants. ““I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted” (Job 42:2). But He looks for cooperation, not domination in relation to us. “I looked for a man from among them who would repair the wall and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land, so that I would not destroy it, but I found no one” (Ezekiel 22:30). Yet SO OFTEN it is US who try and refuse Adonai’s will for our lives. We don’t LET Him do the work He wants to do because we refuse to engage. Again and again we say, ‘Who am I?’

Healing is simple. Not easy, simple. Jesus suffered for us and released healing through His crucifixion (Isaiah 53:5). It was released for ALL who believe (1 Peter 2:24). And the healing He released is NOT just physical, but spiritual as well (Matthew 8:16-17) – our salvation coving the ENTIRE spectrum of our existence. He released it and when we are resurrected into Him (1 Peter 1:3). With that new identity (2 Corinthians 5:17), we have the authority to declare, carry out, and stand on the Word (Matthew 28:18; Luke 10:19). We know Adonai wants everyone well and healed and whole – spiritually first so that you can receive the physical (3 John 2). Why don’t we engage then? Why do we doubt the physical arrival of our healing? Why are we wondering about what Elohim wants? Because we are small in our eyes. Because we see our flaws. Because we ask who am I? Who am I that you’d heal me? That you’d pay attention to me? That I would even be a blip on your radar? Who am I? It is not a new question. Not for us and not for other creations of Adonai.

What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor” (Psalm 8:4-5). ‘Angels’ here aren’t angel angels, but Elohim Himself. We WERE classed above angels (Hebrews 1:14), but we FELL. We only will be back in our rightful place IN Jesus and IN Heaven (when flesh has been laid down). But angels asked what IS humanity that Adonai did this? He gave us something angels NEVER had. His breath. His authority. The ability to speak WORDS and have them obeyed by creation. Angels ONLY do what Elohim tells them. They are using borrowed power. The devil and his angels cannot do anything without OUR permission – WE are their borrowed power. WE are used BY Adonai who sends power THROUGH us according to His Word and will. WE don’t have the power, HE has the power and IN JESUS gives us the same authority Jesus has – when we use it as Jesus does. We are special. Not in ourselves, but because He says we are. We are His delight and THAT is what makes us special.

So why don’t WE see it? Identity. We have no sense of our identity. We as a culture are so bad at this that even scientifically and glaringly provable aspects of human identity are under debate. We just don’t want to walk in what we were made to and we’re turning it into a bunch of human nonsense. Why are we so unable to see who we are? I totally get the trouble we ALL have with functioning within our identity in Messiah Jesus consistently and constantly. I GET that. But what about ourselves? Just as functioning flesh suits? We have cognition in a way NOTHING else on this planet does. We have LANGUAGE in a way nothing else does. We can teach, but NOTHING uses it like us. We communicate in a UNIQUE way. Then there is how our bodies function and how perfectly designed the systems are. If it wasn’t for the cosmic rays that run through our planet (and therefore us) we might not even age, THAT is how good our bodies are at repairing ourselves [the HZE ions in the rays trigger different responses in cells initialised by DNA damage and mitochondria dysregulation, which cause a prolonged state of sterile inflammation in the tissues, which causes ageing and deterioration of the tissue]. Our bodies are a MARVEL which statistically could NOT have evolved on their own because it is statistically impossible – by ALL and EVERY mathematical model we have [the chance that any kind of a 200-component integrated functioning organism could be developed by mutation and natural selection just once, anywhere in the world, in all the assumed expanse of geologic time, is less than one chance out of a billion trillion {12 + 3 to the power of 18 which is 76 zeros!}. According to Heisenberg, nothing can be verified to a probability smaller than Planck’s Constant (roughly 6.6 divided by 10 to the power of 34 which is only 33 zeros)].

Just as living organisms, we are SPECTACULAR. In Elohim’s eyes we are VERY GOOD. That might seem like less than spectacular, but it is good on ELOHIM’S scale of goodness and that is off our charts! From THAT point of view, why are we so surprised that He pays attention to us? He made us, knowing what was coming (Revelation 13:8) and still we get Genesis 1:31 “God saw all that he had made—and it was very good! There was evening, and there was morning, the sixth day.” We were the last thing He created, the pinnacle of creation. Top of the pops. In form, manner, and function, little copies of Adonai Elohim Himself. It is SO EASY to either lose sight of that or not really grasp it in the first place because we have never seen ourselves that way. We were born fallen. The DNA of Adam. When two slavic parents have a child naturally, it is expected to be slavic as well. Same with ANY of the racial groups. Like + like produces like. Well, when two humans (regardless of racial group) have a child, it will be human. It will NOT be a fish. NOT be an animal. NOT be a bird. It will be human. And that human child will be fallen just like the parents were. Because we are all descended from Adam. He was human, and we’re just like him.

Then Jesus came along. In HIM we become a new thing. We’re changed from the DNA (or even smaller) on up. We are different than Adam was when he procreated. We are now renewed. New creations. Things that are not dying (we age, but are NOT required to deteriorate), but being renewed day by day. “Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you” (Romans 8:11). “And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18). Jesus changed the whole ballgame. We are NOT doomed to be like Adam, but creatures of LIFE like Jesus (Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:22). He came to change what was possible for us to see about ourselves. He came so that when we submitted to Elohim, and responded to His love (John 3:16-18) with our obedient love (John 14:15-17), we were able to abide in Him (John 15:5) and become in the spirit what He was in the spirit (2 Corinthians 5:21); which gives us the authority to be in the physical world what He was in the physical world. “By this love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). In Messiah Jesus, we are NOW as He is NOW. Him in Heaven, us on Earth. Two halves working together in humble submission to the Father’s Will (Matthew 11:28-30). WITH EACH OTHER (Matthew 19:26).

The more we become grounded in our identity in Messiah Jesus, the less we will say ‘who am I?’. It’s somewhere Moses never got to because OUR covenant is superior in that relational regard (Hebrews 8:6). But Moses UNDERSTOOD it better than we do. We need to get the Word into our brains. Let it change our neural pathways into the ones Jesus used. So we can naturally think like Him even as we can – through Ruach HaKodesh – think like Jesus in the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:16). We need to see ourselves as Adonai sees us. It makes accepting from Him what He has for us so much easier. Look at yourself as He does, and see how much the issues and problems of this life fade away (1 John 4:18).

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Isaiah 55:1

“Hey, all who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come! Buy and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” Everyone spiritually thirsty would come to Messiah. There would be living water available flowing from the Throne of Heaven through the Messiah (Ezekiel 47:1-12). “On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink. Just as the scripture says, ‘From within him will flow rivers of living water.’” (Now he said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given because Jesus was not yet glorified.)” (John 7:37-39). Jesus prophesied this. And when the Spirit was given (Acts 2), it began to come to pass. “So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about 3,000 people were added” (Acts 2:41). Jesus IS Messiah!
