Fear No Fear

“Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so” (Genesis 1:9, MEV). The words of God have POWER. They create things. They make things come to be that seem impossible. Imagine a globe of water. And then at the WORDS of God, land rose. Tectonic plates shifted, squeezed, and pushed. Volcanoes exploded. Islands popped up. Continents formed. Mountain ranges reached to the sky. The noise of it. The motion of it. The tremendous amount of creative energy must have been awe-inspiring. It came to be because of WORDS. God knows the power of His words. He does not speak unnecessary. He does not speak frivolously. When He speaks, there is PURPOSE. When He speaks, He is bound by His speaking. And when He looks at me and when He looks at you, He speaks. He doesn’t speak JUDGMENT (John 3:17). He does speak CORRECTION (Hebrews 12:7). He speaks ENCOURAGEMENT (Joshua 1:9). He BLESSES us (Genesis 1:28). He does it all because He speaks to us of His LOVE for us (Jeremiah 31:3; Romans 5:8; 1 John 4:16). Imagine that. God has BOUND Himself in His love for us. NOTHING He does will EVER be inconsistent with LOVE (1 Corinthians 13; Galatians 5:22-23). That is WONDERFUL! That is a BLESSING! GOD LOVES US!!!!!!! When we get the revelation of that living inside of us, it will open the doors of the Kingdom to us like NOTHING ELSE (Ephesians 3:14-21). Because He LOVES us. And He is SPEAKING that to us. He LOVES us.
