Fear No Fear

“For these things I suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him until that Day” (2 Timothy 1:12, MEV). God is faithful. And God has strong hands. Jesus Himself said that He doesn’t lose what has been given into His hands (John 18:9). Things that we entrust to Jesus are safe. He isn’t going to drop them. He isn’t going to slip up. He is going to be faithful and hold them until they are dealt with. Jesus FINISHES things. Jesus PRODUCES things. Jesus is RICH and GOOD soil. God made a way for us to put OURSELVES into Jesus’ hands. Jesus keeps us and develops us in cooperation with us and when the Day comes, will present us COMPLETE in Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). We are safe and HE won’t give us up. HE won’t stop working in us. HE won’t stop developing us. And WE need to stay rooted in Him (John 15:5). When we do, we witness the work. It isn’t background. It isn’t behind the curtain. We witness it, cooperate with it, and keep ourselves humbly submitted to Him. That is where richness lies. That is where goodness lies. Right in His hands. Kept close. Kept precious. Kept safe. For now and for always. He is a GOOD God!
