Fear No Fear

“Surely the Lord God does nothing without revealing His purpose to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7, MEV). God tells us things. He warns us about what’s coming. He does it so that we remember to turn to Him when circumstances go bad. He does it so that we have time to prepare our hearts. When something hits is not the time to start building up our trust in His ability to get us through. When you are diagnosed with something is not when you start to believe He has released healing for you. It is in the calm times, the rich times that we need to buckle down and start trusting in Him. It’s easy to trust God when things are hard and times are lean. When stress is trying to rise up inside you. But we won’t be in the place we could be if we had started BEFORE the trouble arrived. God tells us things so that we can prepare ourselves. He doesn’t want us in a weak place. He wants us resting in and relying on Jesus with all our trust. He wants us believing in Him. So He always speaks to us about what is coming. Not in timelines, but to let us know: it’s time to start trusting so there is no disruption of service. When you hear something is coming? Believe Him and prepare your heart. Then it won’t matter WHEN it arrives. Preparation time is NEVER wasted time.
