Fear No Fear

“Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” (Ephesians 6:10, MEV). We are NOT called to do it ourselves. God knows that the circumstances that we find coming on us are not always nice. They can be hard. There are those who love to persecute anyone who follows Jesus. The fight against the strongholds of our minds takes real effort. But we are not called to go it alone. We are not called to rely on whatever strength we have (physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual). We are called to rely on HIS strength. The life of a disciple of Jesus is IMPOSSIBLE. We can ONLY do it in and through Jesus. We are ENCOURAGED to rely on Him. To lean on Him. To let HIM be the source of what we need to make it through. God NEVER asks us to stand on our own. He ALWAYS asks us to stand in Jesus. To rely on Him. To let HIM help us (John 15:5). He knows what we will face and He is always there to be the boat, to be our strength, to get us to the other side. He is so GOOD to us.
