Fear No Fear

“From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”” (Matthew 4:17, MEV). This is also translated as the kingdom of God is NEAR. God isn’t HIDING from us. God isn’t gatekeeping. Human beings equate value with effort. God does not. We don’t have to go on a trek and find Him in a cave on a hill. We don’t have to beat ourselves into submission or have tragedy and sickness teach us lessons. We don’t need to constantly pour over ancient texts to discover the clues to unlock the hidden wisdoms. All WE need to do is talk. DIRECTLY to Him. He is right here with us (1 Corinthians 3:16). The kingdom of Heaven isn’t a far off place. It isn’t the light at the end of a lifetime of tunnel. It is right here with us. “For the kingdom of God does not mean eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17). Holy Spirit is within us. Holy Spirit is WITH us. He carries with Him the kingdom of Heaven. We are RIGHT THERE right where we are because HE is RIGHT HERE right where WE are. God loves us. God wants to be with us. In and through Jesus He brought HIS home to OURS. So that we can be together forever. That is how much He loves us.
