Fear No Fear

“Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands among us; yes, establish the work of our hands” (Psalm 90:17, MEV). One of the great things about God is that He NEVER leaves us alone (Hebrews 13:5). When we go to work, not just to labour but to labour in a way that brings Him glory (Colossians 3:23), He is right there with us. Right there to give advice or to teach us what we need to know. Right there to encourage and to support us. Also right there to establish what we’re doing. To give it a foundation that won’t fall apart. To fertilize it into better growth and more harvest. He takes what we are doing and makes it more than we could make it on our own. Isn’t that a great thing? To prosper in whatever we are doing, whether that means better craftsmanship, better quality, more units, more pay, or more satisfied clients/customers. To do the best we can and through that best BLESS what we are doing – whether for ourselves or for a not-us boss. We are not only not left alone, we are PROSPERED and ESTABLISHED in what we set our hands to do for His glory. Isn’t that awesome? He loves us and is SO good to us!
