Fear No Fear

“He has made from one blood every nation of men to live on the entire face of the earth, having appointed fixed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek the Lord so perhaps they might reach for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:26-27, MEV). He is NOT FAR FROM EACH ONE OF US. These are some of the sweetest words in all the scriptures. God. The Creator. Almighty and Above All Things. I AM. He is NOT far from us. He wants to fellowship with us. He is EASILY found – if we will seek. People throughout human history have put hoops between themselves and God. Unsatisfied with HIS goodness, they seek other avenues for a god. They worship other things and in some cases, themselves. But there He is. Through it all. Standing VERY NEAR. Waiting to be found. When we seek Him we DO find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). We simply have to do it with our whole heart, being willing to submit to what we find because He IS God. He is RIGHT THERE. No matter what you’re going through. No matter the circumstances. He is RIGHT THERE and waiting to be found. What a GREAT GOD He is! Not leaving us alone in the dark, but making Himself and His Light available to us. Simple. Basic. Love. Real love in action. He is right there. Right now. Waiting for us. What a GOOD God!
