Healing Wings “Imagination Station”

This man was listening to Paul as he was speaking. When Paul stared intently at him and saw he had faith to be healed.
Acts 14:9 (emphasis added)

Every healing, every step of trust, everything we receive from Adonai starts as an idea in our heads. It doesn’t come from outside. The IDEA of it comes from the outside. A call or a message or a word may be the catalyst to get us thinking, but if we don’t see it on the inside nothing happens. Peter and John did it in Acts 3:4. Jesus did it in Luke 5:20; Mark 2:5; and John 8:11. People SAW it in their minds as a possibility and Adonai RESPONDED. If we don’t see it, it will never come to pass.

When Elohim went to create Creation, He thought it out. He looked at it. We know this because He saw us before He made us. “For he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him in love” (Ephesians 1:4). The Father and the Son thought out salvation and Jesus spiritually walked it out before ANYTHING was done. “and all those who live on the earth will worship the beast, everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was killed” (Revelation 13:8). Adonai thought out everything He wanted us to work on before we were there to do the work. “For we are his creative work, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we can do them” (Ephesians 2:10). He conceived the idea before He birthed the reality. He did it during creation too. He conceived the idea, spoke it out, and then it physically arrived. “(as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”). He is our father in the presence of God whom he believed—the God who makes the dead alive and summons the things that do not yet exist as though they already do” (Romans 4:17). This is how Adonai works. Conception and then production.

Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth.”” (Genesis 1:26). We were created like Elohim. When we go to do something, we conceive of it first. Even the world understands this. Robert Collier said ‘All riches have their origin in Mind. Wealth is in ideas—not money.’ Norman Vincent Peale said ‘Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that.’ We teach our children to think of fresh ideas. There are television shows dedicated to people trying to get funding for the next big idea. Entertainment moguls are hailed when they come up with a fresh idea that becomes a hit. Underdogs becoming rich and famous. Even scams are based on ideas too good to be true. We were designed to conceive ideas and then make those ideas become reality – that’s us tending the Garden (Genesis 2:15). We were also designed to work in accordance and harmony WITH Adonai and speak HIS Word out so He could move with His power to make things physically arrive which are to our minds impossible. “The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and placed me in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones. He made me walk all around among them. I realized there were a great many bones in the valley, and they were very dry. He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said to him, “Sovereign Lord, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and tell them: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Lord’s message. This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath into you and you will live. I will put tendons on you and muscles over you and will cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’” So I prophesied as I was commanded. There was a sound when I prophesied— I heard a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone. As I watched, I saw tendons on them, then muscles appeared, and skin covered over them from above, but there was no breath in them. He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath,—prophesy, son of man—and say to the breath: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these corpses so that they may live.’” So I prophesied as I was commanded, and the breath came into them; they lived and stood on their feet, an extremely great army” (Ezekiel 37:1-10). Whether it is under our own steam or under His steam, the principle is the same. Seedtime and then harvest. Conception and then production.

Receiving is no different from producing or creating. It’s just we aren’t doing the WORK. We’re conceiving the idea Adonai gives us, thinking on it until it is so real we can almost touch it, and then HE delivers to us the physical reality of what He has already accomplished. It’s like He makes a car, sends us a pamphlet or a video about it, and gets us so excited about it we can SEE ourselves driving it. This happens in advertising all the time. They show us people enjoying something and then we see ourselves enjoying it in our minds, and so we go buy it. What about when you’re hungry? Can’t you just see that food sizzling on the grill? Can’t you nearly smell that food simmering on the stove? Can’t you close your eyes and imagine yourself eating it? Feeling the mouth feel. Tasting the flavours. It is often how we make poor food choices, buying things we know aren’t good for us, but which taste sooooooo good. We are visual in how we conceive things. If we can see ourselves doing it clearly enough, that vision will see us through accomplishing it. Seeing themselves as a doctor takes people through the up to 15 years that it takes. Seeing themselves as a Marine takes people through the intense and gruelling training to become one. The clarity of our vision often determines our ability to stick with things through the bumps, bruises, and brawn that it takes to make things happen in this world. But Adonai isn’t limited by this world.

Adonai conceived things we have no idea about. We estimate that the unobservable universe is at LEAST 23 trillion light years in diameter. That’s a volume of space over 15 million times as large as what we currently see. Think of the unknowns located in that space. What about all the things on THIS planet. All the moments in all the lives that have ever walked this Good Earth – approximately 117 billion so far. Every one of us feels like we are in our own movie. Our own stories being told every day all day long. Imagine how many things Adonai has conceived for each and every one of those 117 billion people. And all the rest who are coming. Think of all the group events and happenings that He thought of. And think of all the things that were conceived before Creation, finished, and released through Jesus’ ordeal on the cross. In fact, we KNOW that they were released because through those actions we were enabled to be justified – having or shown to have a just, right, or reasonable basis of being. Because WE were identified in the eyes of the Father as justified by Jesus’ works, Jesus was raised. Dying is what Jesus did to pay the price for sin and the defeat of all its effects. Being resurrected to life was possible because we were justified by His work on the cross. “but also for our sake, to whom it will be credited, those who believe in the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification” (Romans 4:24-25). Adonai conceived it, Jesus did the work, the Father produced the physical arrival of it through Jesus’ resurrection. And now? Now it is again an idea. A REAL idea, but an idea nonetheless.

Mount Rushmore in Keystone, South Dakota. The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. The Kenroku-en Gardens in Kanazawa, Japan. These are real places. They exist. But I cannot see them. I am not receiving their beauty with my eyes. If I want to do that, I have to know they exist. I have to conceive of going there. I have to picture it with enough intensity to really want to go there. To spend the money, get the documentation, make the reservations for transportation and for room and board, get tickets if necessary, figure out any language issues, make sure I have money and a way to contact people, and then I would have to actually go. Then and only then could I receive their beauty with my own eyes. That is a type and picture of what we need to do to receive from Adonai.

Do you see yourself healed and whole? Not CAN you, but DO you? If you don’t, you’ve got to work on it. It isn’t hard because we have the Word. We have example after example after example of people receiving their healing from Jesus. They conceived of their healing and they took it from His freely offering hands. We need to do the same. We need to put ourselves into their stories. We need to see Jesus offering healing. We need to see our teeth regenerating, limbs growing, tumours disappearing, strength soaking into our limbs, eyes unclouding, and ears opening. Whatever it is that you need, you need to SEE it. Imagine it. Think about it as you’re going to sleep. Meditate on it so much that you dream about it. Make it so real to you that you almost don’t need it to actually arrive, THAT is how real it is to you. When you are THAT visual about it and you are using the Word to make it that real, start praising Him for this healing that He has told you that you can have. Praise Him for it as you’re thinking about it. Praise Him as the picture is forming in your mind and imagination. Praise Him day and night. Trust Him. Put your trust in His ability to do this healing you are seeing so clearly it may as already have happened. When you put your trust in Him, based on His Word which is His Will, Adonai responds to that. Ruach HaKodesh is the power of the Word which physically acts in our lives. The Word WORKS. We don’t have to fast and make Him do something. We don’t need to pray and travail and intercede to make Him do something. He’s already done it all. All of it. It was FINISHED, remember (John 19:30). The fasting, praying, and interceding is for US. To get US aligned with HIM.

If we can get it real in our minds and it is something that the Word says (a) is possible and (b) we qualify for and (c) will bring Him glory? It WILL happen. It will happen for US exactly the same way it happens for Him. “By faith we understand that the worlds were set in order at God’s command, so that the visible has its origin in the invisible” (Hebrews 11:3). “because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). It starts in the mind. Looking toward what He has in the unseen Kingdom, waiting for us to appropriate and engage. Waiting for us to put our trust in what He says is possible. Waiting for us to see it, get excited about it, and start praising Him as we act like we already have it – until we suddenly do! Conceive, trust in His production, and receive what you already see so very clearly! Believe it. Conceive it. Trust in His delivery service. It’s where it all begins. Station your imagination in and with the Word today (Romans 12:2).

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Ezekiel 17:22-24

“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “‘I will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and plant it. I will pluck from the top one of its tender twigs; I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain. I will plant it on a high mountain of Israel, and it will raise branches and produce fruit and become a beautiful cedar. Every bird will live under it; every winged creature will live in the shade of its branches. All the trees of the field will know that I am the Lord. I make the high tree low; I raise up the low tree. I make the green tree wither, and I make the dry tree sprout. I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do it!’”” Messiah would be a descendant of David. Throughout the Old Covenant we see that one of the defining characteristics of Messiah would be that He was a descendent of David. “This gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures, concerning his Son who was a descendant of David with reference to the flesh, who was appointed the Son-of-God-in-power according to the Holy Spirit by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 1:2-4). Jesus was a descendant of David (Luke 3:23-31). Jesus IS Messiah!
