Fear No Fear

“Those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You” (Psalm 9:10, MEV). We get something when we give to God. When we give Him our trust. When we choose to believe Him and what His Word says, and not what some clever theologian thought. Not that theologians are wrong, but the Kingdom of God is SIMPLE. It is written to BE simple and to BE believed. God NEVER forsakes us. Ever. God paid for all sin for all time. We need to repent when we sin, because when we sin we move away from Him. He isn’t angry at us, He is righteous. Sin is NOT righteous. It is NEVER right. When we choose to sin, we need to rethink our decisions. We need to look at things the way God looks at things. We need to align our thinking, our speaking, and our behaviour with Him. The Word helps us with that (2 Timothy 3:16-17). That’s why we have it. God loves us too much to leave us hanging. To let us walk away without showing us the path back. He knows how hard it is (Hebrews 4:15). That’s why He doesn’t compromise, but instead shows us the way back. When we seek Him, we won’t do it perfectly. But He will still be there in our mistakes, showing us the RIGHT path, the RIGHTEOUS path, the Way home. He didn’t come to see us stay lost. He came so that we’d know we have been found.
