Healing Wings “Neck Walkers”

(All scripture from the NET, netbible.org, all rights reserved)

After this Jesus, realizing that by this time everything was completed, said (in order to fulfill the scripture), “I am thirsty!” A jar full of sour wine was there, so they put a sponge soaked in sour wine on a branch of hyssop and lifted it to his mouth. When he had received the sour wine, Jesus said, “It is completed!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
John 19:28-30 (emphasis added)

Jesus THIRSTED for His Father. They were separated because Jesus had become sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). No one put Jesus into this position by force. He chose to do it before Creation began (Revelation 13:8). He and the Father and Ruach HaKodesh walked this path in Trust from its conception until its conclusion (Mark 11:22). Jesus offered His life willingly for us (Isaiah 53:7) and at the right time, laid it down (John 10:17-18). What was the culmination of all this and the right time? When Jesus realised it was all complete. When it was finished. When it was accomplished. When the Word was fulfilled. When it was completed. Jesus knew it. At the time, in the midst of His suffering, He KNEW it. We have it recorded for us and over two thousand years of commentary and study, but we don’t all seem to have gotten the message. Not everyone in the Body of Messiah KNOWS it. Some of us are still waiting.

Waiting is a sad condition. Ask any child heading towards their birthday or a gifting celebration like Christmas. Ask any adult who has ordered something for delivery. There is an expectation and a daily disappointment if that is not the day on which it arrives. Which, if trust in the postal system or human ability to organise events isn’t destroyed, leads to renewed expectation that maybe it will be tomorrow. We live in the Age of Grace. “For he is our peace, the one who made both groups into one and who destroyed the middle wall of partition, the hostility, when he nullified in his flesh the law of commandments in decrees. He did this to create in himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed” (Ephesians 2:14-16). First the Jew and then the Gentile, we have both been released from the judgment of the Law. Each and every human being who believes in the sacrifice of Jesus can be in His Grace. Then, because of our love for Him, we find ourselves obeying His Word. We do those things that are right from His point of view. We keep the Law through love, instead of being in a system of punishment. And if we miss it, we can repent and be forgiven. No new sacrifice needed. We simply got something wrong or disobeyed. We didn’t lose salvation or destroy our relationship. This doesn’t mean we can do whatever we want whenever we want. It doesn’t mean consequences for actions no longer exist. But our right standing with Yahweh is not determined by OUR behaviour or accomplishments, but JESUS’. Why? Because it was all accomplished in Jesus already.

Why do we not all believe this simple statement? It is not a complex sentence in Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, English, or any language. Three simple words. It. Is. Finished. We can examine it and slice it up and theorise about it all we want. We will still end up with the same concept: it’s over. Done. Finished. Complete. Ended. Closed. Concluded. I can keep going. The weight of the door is so much, it cannot be opened again. Or to put it this way, it is written “As far as the eastern horizon is from the west, so he removes the guilt of our rebellious actions from us” (Psalm 103:12). It is also written “In him you also were circumcised—not, however, with a circumcision performed by human hands, but by the removal of the fleshly body, that is, through the circumcision done by Christ” (Colossians 2:11). Jesus cut sin off of us. He removed it so far away that Elohim Himself cannot see it. That is a LONG way away. It is not imputed to us. It is not our nature OR a part of our nature. It has nothing to do with us. It is so far removed from us, that if we truly saw that as a total reality inside ourselves we would never sin again (1 John 3:9). But since we DO sin from time to time – it does NOT need to be a daily OR a regular occurrence – we know that there are areas in our lives that we don’t see it. Not truly. Broken thinking. Unrenewed thinking. The leftover programming we had running is still hiding in the background behind our update. We need to dig that code out, expose it, let Jesus deal with it, get His thinking about it, and turn away from it completely to (in that area) walk His perfect path on it. We do this day by day, item by item, piece by piece – no matter how small. “And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

This is why healing is no big deal. Anything that needs to be done in order for you to be capable of receiving it is done. Complete. Over. Ended. Fulfilled. Accomplished. Jesus is not going to be crucified again. He isn’t going to be beaten for you again. He isn’t going to be lashed within an inch of dying again. His beard isn’t going to be ripped out. His head isn’t going to be pierced again. His bruises, stripes, and wounds have already been etched into His flesh. It is done. “For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God. So you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires” (Romans 6:10-12). This is the message of the Gospel. It’s over and you are redeemed. Sin did NOT get the message. It is still at your door wanting to be let in (Genesis 4:7). Let in. Understand that. It is OUTSIDE. Cain had a fallen nature. He wasn’t redeemed. He didn’t have Ruach HaKodesh inside himself. He didn’t have Jesus living in His heart or an internal connection and right to stand before the Father like we do. Yet Elohim told him to subdue sin. Not to let it in. To put his foot on sin’s neck. How much MORE can WE do this? We have better promises. We have JESUS. How is it we are not motivated to start stomping whenever we hear the doorbell? How is it we don’t understand that sin and everything that comes from sin is EXTERNAL. That it is OVER. FINISHED. COMPLETE. And NOT OURS!!!!!

Why are we not seeing ourselves well? Healed? Whole? Sure, the flesh might be coughing or in pain or cancerous. That might be a current physical human reality. But the spiritual eternal Jesus-bought blood-washed TRUE reality is that we are healed, whole, complete, fully functional, aging but not deteriorating. We need to see that. We need to trust that. We need to not doubt that. And we will have that. It’s already there. Engage it. Refuse to accept anything else. You’ve won the lottery and the cheque is in the mail. Ignore the scoffers. Ignore the disappointment if the mailbox is empty today. ANY DAY NOW it WILL arrive. Physically. Inside you for ALL to see! That’s the promise of the Word. Put your trust in it so that it will be of complete, total, and absolute effect. If you don’t, it will be of none effect (Hebrews 4:2) and NO ONE should want that except the devil. And who wants to do what he wants? We want what Jesus is having (John 10:10). We want the GOSPEL experience (2 Corinthians 5:17). Not the apple core experience (Genesis 3:8). When Jesus pops in for a cuppa, we want to be walking on the snake (Psalm 91:13) just like He did (Genesis 3:15).

There is no negative condition that you are meant to keep. Jesus came to deliver you from ALL of them. Elohim only gives GOOD things. Ever. You need to heal your thinking on this. The very concept of Grace is that you don’t deserve the goodness that Adonai is offering to you and begging you to accept. Don’t look to your body. Don’t look to religious teaching about working for it, suffering to be taught lessons, or wondering if it is Adonai’s will or not. It is ALWAYS Jesus’ will for you to accept the healing He suffered to release (Jeremiah 17:14; Matthew 8:3). That’s Grace. Your sickness dropped off a mountain in the back end of Adonai’s dimensional desert. Put your trust in Him. He doesn’t lie. He has persistently spoken for over six thousand years about His desire to see you whole, healed, well, functional, complete, restored, renewed, and a witness of what He is capable off in an INSTANT. Seed your trust into this basic concept. Jesus is willing for you to be whole. Accept nothing else. It won’t hold up to scriptural scrutiny. We don’t have to cope. We don’t have to endure. We don’t have to suffer. We can be whole. If we will put our trust in His faithfulness, step on the neck of sin, doubt, and ANY word from ANYONE that doesn’t agree with THE Word, and praise through to harvest time – whether it is seconds or years – then we will have what we said because we said what HE said to say. This is us cooperating with Him. This is us agreeing with Him. This is us submitting to His Word. This is us getting our minds renewed on this.

That’s all it takes. Retraining our thinking to be in harmony with His from His point of view. Jesus heals EVERY TIME, it is US who misses it. Because we’re not using the mind of the Messiah that we have access to (1 Corinthians 2:16) which understands totally and fully: it IS finished!

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Zechariah 9:9

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: He is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey—on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.” Messiah would be greeted with rejoicing in Jerusalem. They would celebrate Him with singing and shouts and JOY. “A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those following kept shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar, saying, “Who is this?” And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.”” (Matthew 21:8-10). In the ancient Near East a king coming in peace would ride a donkey rather than a warhorse. David placed his son Solomon on one when proclaiming him successor to the throne (1 Kings 1:33). Jesus came on a donkey in peace and was greeted with joy and singing and celebration and rejoicing. Jesus IS the Messiah!
