“Accordingly, it is my earnest expectation and my hope that I shall be ashamed in nothing, but that with all boldness as always, so now also, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death” (Philippians 1:20, MEV). Jesus is magnified in my body. In the health I walk in. In the standing on the Word and His promises that I do. In the focus on the unseen, not the seen. I’m not going to be perfect in myself, but I AM perfect in Jesus. I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). I don’t HAVE to be perfect because Jesus is perfect for me – by which I mean I am not judged by what I achieve, but what Jesus achieved for me (Romans 5:1; Titus 3:7). My personal striving is to be like Jesus. To produce in myself the Fruit that I get from Holy Spirit. To renew my thinking so that mine matches His. To submit to what I find in the Word and rely on His righteousness in every step that I take. To humble myself and live according to how HE says I can live in Him. I rest so that HE becomes my provider in EVERY way. Going where He says, doing what He says, working where He says, willing to expend my energy cooperating with His will. Not afraid to do my part. Not afraid to work. Not afraid to rest. Relying on Jesus because I know that He is WORTH relying on. He is faithful. He is merciful. He is gracious. He is willing to correct me every time I misstep. He is willing to assist me as I repent. I am worth something in His eyes. He LOVES me and He is helping me love Him more and more and more. Every day.
